As long as Catwoman dosent off Bane, Catwoman and Batman ride off together into the sunset, or a mix of both, I think I can accept whatever ending they throw at me.

EDIT: Oh yeah, no John Blake as Batman either

Yeah, I'm pretty much in the same boat. I'd be okay with a Bruce and Selina "happy" ending (for lack of a better term), but I don't understand why people think John Blake being Bats is a good idea, let alone wanting that to happen.

Oh you mean something like Blake taking Gordons job years later...sure. Him becoming a crimefighter is very very stupid. It implies that Bruce leaves a crime ridden gotham to live a normal life, which spits on any iteration of his character.

Besides :funny: Blake isn't a ninja, he's a beat cop, he wouldn't last an hour.

 Preach!!

Completely agree!!!! If Jonathon Nolan is as big a Catwoman fan as Empire and other interviews have made out then IMO he wouldn't give Selina and Bruce a proper finalised romance as thats not their character. The relationship is meant to be on and off just a big tease.

Well, Batman is supposed to be monthly ongoing story with no end in sight, with the possible exception of old man Bruce tutoring some young rapscallion in a jetpack future. And Catwoman and Batman have been married before in the comics; a theme that appears to be repeated in the New 52. Lots of writers have focused on the idea of Batman and Catwoman having a fairly deep and possibly finalized relationship beyond the cowl and mask. It's also all but confirmed that they will be aware of each other's secret identities well before the final battle, one of the hallmarks of a more serious Bat/Cat relationship (and one of the easiest ways to tell the new comic Catwoman has a more shallow relationship with Batman. One of the more...subtle clues.)

And as fun as big teases are, I don't see anything inherently wrong with the possibility that Catwoman and Batman hook up on a permanent basis at the end of TDKR. Provided, of course they are both still alive and not at odds.

I'd hate CW to off Bane. I don't want Batman to kill him (for obvious character reasons) but whatever punishment Bane gets I want done at the hands of Bruce/Batman and I think when that punishing point comes in the film and all the ***** we've seen Bruce go through IMO everybody will want the same thing as well.

Yeah, I honestly don't see Catwoman killing Bane either. I figure Bane will either die when his mask breaks, slowly but surely, or someone else like Miranda Tate stabs him. But first he must be absolutely defeated and broken by Bruce Wayne. If someone else makes the kill-shot, Gordon, Foley or Blake seem just as likely as Catwoman.

Speaking of Gordon, we have seemingly no information on the fates of most of the supporting cast. I can see Alfred being killed by Bane in front of Bruce as the final straw before Bruce climbs out of the pit, and that would explain why we don't seem to have any confirmed Alfred action post-sewer fight. And if someone's going to make a heroic sacrifice, Gordon would fit the bill pretty nicely: The old guy who owes something to the hero decides to thank him by giving him a future.

Anyone think there is any truth to the mini review? It's on the boards of another site with four letters... @Dragon_316ca I know you saw it. What do you think?

Batman and Catwoman can't get together. Fo obvious reasons. But I don't see why a retired Bruce and Selina can't get together. Will Bruce be administering his morality in the bedroom?

I can't discuss this with you if you continue to be this cryptic.

If those 4 letters are an I an M a B and a D then you might as well call BS right now.

I found the supposed "review" -

The Gotham Stock Exchange scene is brilliant. It is done in the same style as the party crashing scene with the Joker, there is that same eery silence from the gatecrashing scene as Bane walks in and takes hold of the floor. That's all I can say, film is great. I've got a gag on me.

Tom Hardy steals the show as Bane, Bane is very charismatic, comes across as an intellectual snob which clashes with his appearance but I don't think he'll get a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nod as his character isn't as iconic as Ledger's Joker but he really, really should. When Hardy comes onto the screen, you cannot take your eyes off of him. He/Bane has a marvelous screen presence. Even some of the information I posted in the Bane thread is not entirely accurate after seeing the movie.

There was a standing ovation after the film finished and I don't think a dry eye in the place either.

If I had to say anything now, I don't think it would be fair as I am still gushing over the movie but I do think it's better than The Dark Knight for a couple of reasons, Batman/Bruce feels more fleshed out and has a complete arc to end his story and he isn't just playing second fiddle to the villain like he was in The Dark Knight plus the story has an epic feel to it especially when the "revolution" kicks off. Hathaway's performance felt like a throwback to the those actresses of Hollywood's golden years and she'll probably be the one to get Academy recognition.

I'm guessing its this as Dragon posted on it. Gotta say even though I don't believe it the posters history suggest he isn't a troll however he hasn't had an account for very long (beginning of June) so take that how you will. Probably bull though.

Am I allowed to post a link to a somewhat competitive site or will that get me banned?

It is from the site that you speak of, however he doesn't give anything major away. Just talks about the actors' performances. It has a chance of being legit though.

There are screenings happening, it is plausible that some reviews will leak out. And this one seems to match what we've been hearing...that TDKR is a terrific film.

Screenings , awesome! are they under embargo thing?

That's what I was thinking. And it could be that I want this, but what he said about the performances seems legit. I hope he's right...
