Yeah, I think that's the consensus on some of the speculations going around here.

That sounds great, but... what is it based on? Are you just guessing? And the real question is... will Bruce also fall for her.

What is it based on?

Everything we have seen so far.

Catwoman watching the fight after trapping Batman there.

All the other footage and leaks we have seen throughout the time we've been watching.

And this screen cap

And then this video...

Which is where John Blake is running through water in the shots of the trailer.

Gorilla has posted some things and spoilers that have been confirmed already, iirc. Most of what he posted above, I feel like I already "knew" even though it hadn't been confirmed. I honestly think I know a lot of what is going to happen on screen already, and I still can't wait to see it transpire.

This film will turn out to be one of the best in a very long time, I think. The fact that it's a film about Batman just further legitimizes the genre and adds to the 'awesome'.
But is it just speculation or is accurate insider info?

I didn't pay attention to who he was, but as I saw the trailer multiple times, I realized it was just some guy and not Bane. Although it is definitely Judge, I didn't even remember he was cast in this film.

My frustration came from the fact that there are still people who think it's Bane, since we've had this trailer for almost two months. You can easily tell it's not him by pausing the trailer and looking somewhat closely.

My bad. I took that cap a while ago and never gave it a second thought. I guess that's the reason I was being stubborn bc it'd gotten cozy in mah brain.

Okay guys...

John Blake will not be Batman.

The "Sewer" fight is not towards the end of the movie.

Catwoman leads Batman there, Bane defeats him while she watches and finds out who Batman really is, this is what makes he switch sides.
Gordon is also pushed into the water and almost drowns which is why he is in the hospita., John Blake rescues him after he is washed out into a drainage ditch.

Selina THINKS she is bringing about social change via Bane when she is convinced and swayed by his methods just like the middle class citizens of Gotham (Punishing the rich in Kangaroo Court while the poor cheer on, preaching corporate greed needs to be abolished, convincing people to rise up against the "police state" and the corporations that facilitates this kind of world (Too Big To Fail).

When she finds out the richest man in the city is also it's only true protector and finds out his "playboy" persona is the real alter ego and that she has helped take out the city's only hope from Bane, she tries to flee (is stopped by John Blake) and breaks her loose agreement with Bane. By doing so, she is on Bane's **** list and forms a loose agreement with Batman/Bruce Wayne.
By the end she falls for him (hug and kiss scene, fighting on rooftops together, riding in the Bat) but still ****s with him from time to time because, well, it's just too fun.

So this movie is pretty much going to be the Batman and Catwoman show, and everyone else are just tools to their story? I thought as much from the get go. :cwink: :oldrazz:

If I had "insider info", I wouldn't be on here.

And if I had "insider info", I wouldn't tell you it was that to begin with.

With that...

RAVE BATMAN!

I'm not convinced yet that Catwoman "betrayed" Batman in the beginning. They might've started out as adversaries so she's not really betraying him since she's against him at the start.

I honestly cant find the posts, but I believe he's posted us information from an 'insider' before that has later been proven accurate.

Was Gorilla the one who hinted at the prison being underground and Bruce having to climb out?

I can't be confident that I recall the specific instance, however.

I think having too many love interests for Bruce really dilutes his character. Plus having two different female characters that betray our protagonist at one point in the film (from what we speculate so far) doesn't portray the fairer sex in such a good light and I don't think Nolan would do that.
But you can't really have Catwoman and not have her be a love interest. I think the Miranda thing will just be him being lonely after so long. The Selina thing will be the real deal.

Yeah, I agree. Bruce's reveal and Bane's true intentions and brutality, will be the main catalysts for her jumping ship, IMO.

Well, I'm convinced the rooftop fight is before Bane beats Batman. She might have never seriously been on his side but it's a betrayal of trust.

Just realised that these are the same scene.

Not technically... that is where Gordon washes out to... This is outside. Gordon is inside when he falls.

I just said this like, 5 posts ago with the video of the same place that John Blake is running in during the day.

A ninja said he was rescuing a cop... the cop was Gordon.

I'm also interested to see...

How the whole ice theme fits in. I know it has to do with being exiled, but at the LA set I watched them film scenes with Batman and Oldman on ice, exchanging a long conversation, and JGL (thought it was JGL, others didn't think so) walking carefully through the ice blizzard and falling through.

The above scene was shown in the Nokia trailer as well - I think it'll be very cool in the actual film. Batman is kinda like a dark animal/creature lurking in the shadows, attacking unexpectedly...

You're right. I just wonder if there will be enough time for all the emotions Bruce must go through with two love interests. I want to know who Miranda Tate really is. It will be a three hour movie though.

Ah so you were there, cool. I was wondering what happened to that report about John Blake falling through the ice.

Could it have been Burn Gorman's character, the guy sentenced to be exiled before Gordan?

Yeah he has some new dance moves in the Nokia version too! Someone needs to collect them all into the same gif.

The way i see it, im totally expecting a "Batmans dead" type of ending but i dont know if he'll literally die saving the city or everybody just thinks it & after the funeral, Nolan shows us that Bruce is actually alive and out of the country to live the rest of his life in peace. Either by himself or with Alfred. (this would only happen with Alfred if he fled Gotham half-way through the movie and doesn't die in the batcave at the hands of Bane)

Don't think Bruce & Selina live happily ever after. Or with Miranda/Talia either. Talia dies. Selina lives and stays in Gotham to help people rebuild the city just like Blake & Gordon. Don't see Gordon dying, Lucius im not sure yet. Can't see it happening unless Alfred indeed does survive. Because i have a feeling ONE of them dies.

This is just speculation like we're all doing, but to me..there is a possibility that Batmans torch is passed on to Blake, but i don't think we'll see him in the suit. I think it'll be open-ended in a way where you're questioning "Is Blake going to be the next Gordon? Or is he going to be the next Batman?"

This is how i see it going down. The only way i'll know personally, while im watching July 20th, is if that epic shot of Batman on the bridge with his back facing us, and the cape flowing in the wind......

If that shot is NOT in this film before those bridges are blown to ****. Which is obviously going to happen by the mid-point of the movie (the very latest), then that damn shot is DEFINATELY going to be the final shot of the whole trilogy. That's how we'll know. And it definately wont be Bruce, it'll be Blake.

There is a figure behind Gordon when he lights the flare. Could it be Blake?

I feel like that 'rave' scene everyone keeps linking is just flashing in darkness caused by gunshots as a thug tries to catch Bats while he approaches.

Yeah, I was there.

He was walking cautiously across the ice, they had a lot of wind and stuff blowing. As he tip-toed, he eventually reached the trap they built on set, and he feel through into a pool of water underneath.

I'm like 100% sure it was JGL's character, the guy look just like him. But I'm not 100% sure, I was 3 stories up on a bridge directly above.
