Well we do see Catwoman with a gun. And she comes out of City Hall. The last place we see Bane. Rags was the first one I remember saying that he thought it highly likely she would cross that line so Bruce wouldn't have to.

Completely agree!!!! If Jonathon Nolan is as big a Catwoman fan as Empire and other interviews have made out then IMO he wouldn't give Selina and Bruce a proper finalised romance as thats not their character. The relationship is meant to be on and off just a big tease.

I'd hate CW to off Bane. I don't want Batman to kill him (for obvious character reasons) but whatever punishment Bane gets I want done at the hands of Bruce/Batman and I think when that punishing point comes in the film and all the ***** we've seen Bruce go through IMO everybody will want the same thing as well.

This. Totally defeats the whole purpose of what this trilogy has set up.

We saw how Bruce was against copycats in TDK and he said "that's not what I meant when I said I wanted to inspire people" with John Blake I think we'll see what he meant. John Blake as Batman is just a copycat without the hockey pads and the real stuff.

Maybe he'll become a Nolanized Nightwing of some sorts. Afterall Dick was a Police Officer in Bludhaven during his Nightwing days.

I think either Selena or Talia will finish him. Or maybe he kills himself? It will come after Bats has beaten him though. They won't take that away from the hero. He will eventually dominate him. Selena could do it because Bane killed her friend Holly.
Purely revenge. Talia might do it because she doesn't tolerate losers. Or he knows too much to let live. Or Bane just does it to himself because he doesn't live up to his own expectations and he does it to save face.

I say this all the time but John Blake taking up the mantle of the bat is such a "jump the shark moment" it would ruin the entire trilogy forever to be used by future bandwagoners against the nolan series.

It could be a death that mirrors Ra's Al Ghul. BAne does something stupid that damages his mask or makes vulnerable his mask then gets broken causing a rage/pain fight against Batman. The Bane is left weak and will die. So Batman has another "I don't have to kill but I don't have to save you either" moment.

Why? I'm not overly fond of it but I think people are exaggerating a tad.

I actually would like to see this rather than having Selina or Tate finishing him off. I could also see Batman finishing him off. Joker pushed him to the limit, but Bane will be the one that sets him over the edge and forces him to break his #1 rule to save Gotham.

Him taking the mantle? No. Him actually becoming full costume Batman? Very likely. Blake deciding to protect Gotham fits in with the trilogy as the point of Batman for Bruce is to inspire the people of Gotham so that makes perfect sense. Becoming Batman is just stupid and doesn't fit in the beginning of TDK.
