Btw, I think I've figured out how Batman's whole return takes place. He chases the S.E. bandits on the Batpod, uses the EMP gun to disable them. He picks up the iPad from the spy footage we've seen and discovers a clue to Bane's location in the sewer. Police arrive, Batman outruns them to the Bat, flies it back to the cave. He then does more research on Bane's specific location or arms up or something, then leaves for the sewer. We all know what happens next.

That's the way I think it'll play out though.

I don't know but lets say his parents were murdered, and he decided from that day to dedicate his life to fighting crime. So of course he joined the police force determined to be the best there is, instead of pratting about on holiday for the best part of a decade.
