If WB doesn't use the graffiti symbol, I hope they use it for the trilogy boxset.
It shows perfectly how Batman is a symbol of hope, and how Bruce has finally accomplished his goal: to inspire the people of Gotham to fight for their city, protect it and do what is right.

It would have been the perfect poster for this one imo.

Love the IMAX poster....but it's spoiler filled!

The ending will be leaked, so maybe it doesn't matter.

that new imax poster stinks. i'm surprised so many like it. come on, not everything batman related is gold.

Also if TheShape is lurking around these boards may I ask how excited you actually are for TDKR? As excited as some of the members here or would you happily just wait for the release date?

My least favorite thing about TDKR has been the posters :csad:

I mildly remember seeing BB in theaters (I was 8 years old then mind you :p) but that film was able to reignite my love for Batman with ease.

I remember being all giddy when I saw the Joker card at the end.

I was 9 when I saw it. I remember seeing the card and the first time Scarecrow puts his mask on quiet well.

Oh and just got back from Amazing Spider-Man which was actually very good but only had trailer 3. Was hoping it would be Nokia. Great to see a trailer on the big screen though.

Me three!

It blows my mind that it's been 4 years since Dark Knight. So much has happened to me since then but it feels like yesterday it came out.

Me four. :awesome:

I skipped school like five times just to see Begins in theaters.

Back then, when BB first came out, I don't think most would have imagined that Nolan's Batman franchise would reach the height of popularity and cultural phenomenon that it enjoys today; heck, I remember on how Raimi's Spider-Man films were considered to be the top dog when it came to hero franchises, and now, 8 years later, look how far Nolan's Batman legacy has reached.

Batman In Cybertron

That would be a much better poster if Batman wasn't in it.

Eh, while I enjoyed Raimi's first Spider-Man film, I think new re-boot will outdo that franchise.

I've never seen Begins at the cinema :(

I never really followed the comics and Schumacher COMPLETELY blew my interest in Batman films to the point where I didn't even follow Begins at all and waited till the DVD.

Ever since I have been waiting for it to comeback to a cinema near me but it hasn't :(. However, tomorrow Odeon are adding a few more areas that are showing the whole trilogy and I am praying it comes here.

Guys, really terrible news. I feel badly the way we've all been building up the fact that I was going to this screening tomorrow morning, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I won't be attending it.

My best friend (who was the one taking me to this screening as his guest) just informed me that his younger sister passed away a few hours ago at the age of 18 after a pretty tragic accident. Obviously, I'm a little selfishly devastated about not seeing the film tomorrow, but there's clearly no way he can go to this thing and I was attending as his guest (with his name on the RSVP list and his ID needed at the theater), so without him, I doubt there's a way I can go.

Still, this is such a sad, unexpected thing that I can't really worry about myself right now. Two more weeks is two more weeks.

What I'm going to do is call the WB trade screening number that I have and explain the situation to see if I can still go and bring a guest of my own. I believe my name is listed as the guest so this may or may not work.

It seems to me that the general consensus is that Webb's film is better than Raimi's. Which proves to me just how highly regarded Nolan's films are as TAS is nowhere near the level of BB but still very good.

I am more of lurker, however have been reading this board alot. Can't believe we are almost there. I liked the IMAX poster, really makes the Nolan Batsuit look good in my opinion....and it's not a suit I am a big fan of.

So sorry to hear that. :csad:

Wow, that really sucks. My condolences to your friend's family.
