So THAT was the bad news that he got the other day. Collider wasn't invited :funny: That's awful

So was there some drama going on with these junket stuff? Steve from Collider doesn't seem happy about it. :funny:

WB seems to be playing a lot of politics with this one. Really don't understand it.

I don't get it either... Collider was invited to the set, and then the world premiere of the prologue. What the heck?? Steve is the hardest working guy in the business too. If you follow him on Twitter, you'll see that he's always on a plane going somewhere to cover movies.

I also find it very strange that Collider didn't get invited. Maybe he revealed too much with his last report and WB frowned on it?

There was someone too (can't remember who) who said something like "apparently critics outside of LA don't matter" when talking about TDKR's screenings.

Yeah, I feel bad about pumping everyone up for it tomorrow. Maybe it would've been smarter to wait to post something after I saw it, but it was impossible to contain my excitement.

Here's what I'm wondering and if there's anyone familiar with critic's screenings, help me out. My friend has to RSVP to this thing over a week ago, and I know he listed my name as his guest. Proper ID is needed to attend.

At this point, i think i might just show up and give it a shot?

BTW, thanks for all the kind words, everyone.

Go for it. If your name's on a list you still have a good chance.

I would definitely give it a shot. I had to do the same thing for my press screening, and all my guests have to have IDs. I would think you'll be able to get in since your name is already down. Explain the situation too. Sorry to hear about that though!

I can imagine an exec reporting to Nolan that someone leaked some info, with Nolan responding with the "slit your throat" gesture. Exec then says "Very well then".

I don't see why they wouldn't allow it. Especially under the circumstances. Certainly they wouldn't be that cruel.

This is precisely the kind of thing that can backfire. Critics shouldn't pre-judge a film because the studio treats them poorly, but they will do it. Screwing with their little status quo is just begging them to trash the movie out of spite.

For all this secrecy....the film n its ending better be worth it

Rises must have one HELL of an ending if WB is being this hush hush about it.

I'll say. What I want is for it to actually be an "ending". if it's one of those things like Inception where the finality is kind of left to your imagination, I might be disappointed given the hype, you know? Something that surprises and impresses me needs to be delivered in the final scene itself.

It must be a M. Night Shyamalan ending if they're keeping it so secret. :P

I feel like Hero Complex's "Big" TDKR story has to be more than just a Nolan interview. At this point there's nothing really new anyone can say in an interview, all the questions have been asked. Maybe Geoff got to see it early and is posting a review tonight? That might be *too* big... but what's something in between that it could be?
