Scratch that. There's not a single one in my entire state that plays Hollywood films. The only genuine IMAX theaters in Ohio are located in museum centers, where they only show documentaries. Same thing with Kentucky and Indiana.

This sucks.

Same here. The TN Aquarium in Chatt and the Fernbank Museum in ATL are the only ones within 100 miles.

I dont know why eveyone is all up in arms about AMC saying that we are only showing it in 70mm screens instead of Digitial IMAX. This will be no different then it was in 2007. Everyone here that saw a prolouge in 2007 can just go to that same place. The article to me is saying that Hey we admit it we are not real IMAX. Here is the list of real IMAX screens so enjoy.

My friend said the IMAX in Indianapolis is the real deal and they show Hollywood films.

The IMAX at the State Museum is the real deal for certain, and though the Showplace 17 IMAX is digital its still quite nearly standard IMAX size. It and the one in Reading, PA are apparently the largest digital IMAXes.

I dont know why eveyone is all up in arms about AMC saying that we are only showing it in 70mm screens instead of Digitial IMAX. This will be no different then it was in 2007. Indianapolis – Indiana State Museum IMAX – 404 seats, opened 12/19/1996

As I recall the State Museum didn't show I Am Legend/the prologue. I saw it, and the early viral screening, at the Showplace 17 IMAX.

I did find it weird that AMC announced this. It's alright. AMC have got the Nolan hookup I guess. Inception was rereleased for about a week on AMC IMAX screens as well. I still haven't figured out why.

it wasn't just Inception. It's to boost the idea of IMAX and whatever.

People aren't going to these movies as much, they want people to come to the more expensive venue and spend more money if they're going to go to the movies less frequently.

Ahhhh I though it was only Inception. But it was only $7 so it was weelll worth watching it again.

Oh well. $20 is a lot for a few minutes but at least I get to see Simon Pegg in IMAX too? :funny:

^ And Josh Holloway... The $20 is SO worth it. Yes, I can be shallow like that. :D

I can swallow a bit of Tom Cruise for 6 minutes of the TDKR and Paula Patton. She is so stunning. :woot: :hrt:

According to that list, the nearest IMAX theater to me is four hours away. **** that .

Hey, IMAX. Why don't you come on down to Cincinnati :csad:?

There's one or two IMAX theaters in Indianapolis. Isn't that about 2 hours from you?

This sucks.

I literally saw The Dark Knight in IMAX at the Indiana State Museum, so I KNOW they will show things like this, at least occasionally. Otherwise, there's an IMAX theater (where I saw Avatar) in Noblesville/Indianapolis, which is basically the far NE side of Indy.

People are talking about MI4 like sitting through it would be punishment... It's Brad goddamn Bird.

It's not a punishment?

I don't plan on staying at this point. #1 I wouldn't be able to concentrate on the film after 6 minutes of TDKR

#2 Tom Cruise

#3 Mission Impossible has been done a little too much for my taste.

#4 I'll probably pass out after the TDKR prologue anyway

Yep. I see this happening to me.

Im pumped for MI4 looks better than the last two. Even though Cruise is a weirdo in real life hes been good in a lot of good movies so ive no problem sitting through it

Honestly when I saw HP:TDH PT2 and the Teaser finished, I had a hard time concentrating on that film and that was REALLY good.

So 6 minutes of footage which is destined to be far better than the Teaser will probably occupy my mind.

this is tha best 6 mins of my life
:whatever:

Can you freakin' stop already?

Your trolling was amusing before, some of the posters even found it cute, and you did manage to trick a few people, but it's so overly forced now you're making no one but yourself look ridiculous (and no, I don't mean this facade, I mean you, who we all know is quite capable of typing competantly. The people who get it don't find you funny or clever either.)

When it's so pathetically obvious that you're going out of your way to make inane posts, it stops being funny... you're like that guy who won't stop making unfunny tasteless jokes and then wonders why no one is laughing. Ever heard of the concept of subtlety? Clearly not.

Everyone knows it's a hoax, you're never gonna be remembered for a "hello i'm ben"-esque post, so please drop it and stop attention ****ing. I'd rather read posts discussing TDKR than a fan trying to make himself appear like he's mentally challenged. Thanks and good day.

Sigh... I didn't get the TDKR teaser with my showing of HP. They never show anything but old trailers for films that either are already out or are nearing release over here... and even then you'll see something like a year-old teaser trailer for them. I might as well show up late to the cinema from now on because seats are booked in advance and the previews always suck.

What if Paula Patton made you swallow a bit of t. Cruise?

Sorry.

I'm sure it'll be online after a bit because the release is so limited. Once the bootlegs stir up more hype they'll offically release it
