I completely agree with Trav. Except usually it's the cowl that really takes me out of it, in the case of most of the unofficial shots i've seen from TDKR, the cowl hasn't bugged me.

I actually think they modified the cowl a bit for this film. Very subtle differences, but I think they've made little changes to the suit overall - thicker neck, for instance. Still the same suit, but maybe different dimensions.

I'm looking at all of these pics from the NY shoot and am overwhelmed with jealousy and impatience. So in order to cope with the thought of what seems like such a long wait, I turn on the tv and try to distract myself. Naturally, I turn on Sunday Night Football and what do I see: the Steelers at Heinz Field. "Everywhere I look, something reminds me of her." Ugh, July is so far!

The big fight scene was filmed in 3 states, (PA, CA & NY) PA was stairs, CA was a "dead end" and NY was coming down the stairs to the streets of Gotham, maybe not news but it pieces together locations to scenes a bit better

I can't help but wonder if I'll feel bad when Bane comes in. After the events of TDK, if I were in Batman's shoes I couldn't help but feel angry at the world and what has been bestowed of me. I understand this is the point of Batman, but if this is the hero Gotham deserves, then what should stop Batman from letting Bane destroy the city?

Makes you wonder if perhaps if Bane breaks Batman's body and spirit, that in a way convinces him the world is too cruel and corrupt of a fight; that a new force like himself is better left to destroy an imperfect city of sin and turmoil. Wouldn't that be a sight? If Batman was defeated, he would condone the with his own defeat and give the keys to Gotham to Bane.

That's something that would make me FEAR Bane more than Joker.

You raise a good point. Recall Joker's statement: "When the chips are down, these civilized people will eat each other."

That didn't happen. Enter Bane, who kicks over the Poker table.

I suspect based on the NY pics, that Bane turning Gotham's populace on itself will be enough to break Batman. Think about some of the things he could convince brainwashed followers to do.

I doubt Commisioner, but then again I don't know what Modine's suit represents- Do any of the Americans here know what rank Modine is jusdged on his suit?

If anything Bale is skinnier than he was in TDK. I don't think he really worked out for this one as he was shooting something else.

I think Bale looks a lot better in this more than in TDK.

I love what Im seeing, I get the feeling were in for one giant war for gotham city, if the cops win order is restored, if banes men win criminals will control the city. Enter the Dark Knight to save the day. By the end of this movie Batman will be the hero gotham deserves. This movie has the potential make this franshcise the highest grossing superhero franchise of all time.

I've been quieter and quieter on these boards, as the photo and shooting threads have got increasingly spoilerific and I've been avoiding them. But I think opening up the "General Discussion" thread and finding the first post on the page is something like this is the final nudge to just clear out of the Spoiler board altogether. I may try setting some discussion threads up in Non-Spoilers.

Bale is clearly bigger in TDKR than he was in TDK which he looked pretty damn gaunt in a lot of scenes.

So far from all the TDKR set pics of Bale as Batman and Wayne he looks significantly more plump. He's filling out the TDK costume for example a lot better in the face area.
