Isn't it weird: including Anne and Bale, this is the third person who's been cloaked like that. Perhaps it's Bale's or Anne's double......

During the Muromachi period a Shogun overthrew the Emperor and set up a rule after a civil war.

So roughly translated "a disciple of a shogun who is seeking to overthrow the status quo through a civil war"?

(yeah I'm probably way out of line and connecting dots that may not be there.)

interesting nonetheless.

Finnaly undestood what the hell this means! Thanks! Well, everthing indicates is Bane is the new leader of League of Shadows, so a chant saying "the disciple becames the master on war" or something like that makes sense with the characters, and open more space for diferent interpretations/ speculations

i bet its a stuntman in a catwoman costume. they had to find a guy with feminine features who could probably do the stunts that Anne couldn't. besides, wasnt Anne photographed under a similar hood the other day?

I can already see the reviews now by "certain" online critics about Nolan's possible heavy-handedness with this film.

I see an epic film that's going to divide the critical community, just based off of the info from the last 12 hours or so...

My feeling is that TDKRises will work together threads and set pieces from Knightfall, No Man's Land, and TDKReturns.

Bane's elimination of Batman is the "Knightfall" section, the chaos in Gotham after the earthquake device is the "No Man's Land" section, and Batman's return to crush Bane will be the "Dark Knight Returns" section. Bane even looks like the Mutant leader, and I speculate that Batman might contrive to beat him in as public a fashion as possible.

More specifically, the Coporations=Greed and "Money Makes You Ugly" portions of the film are going to seem, to some, hypocritical...considering the corporation behind this film and the merchandising for this film.

It's the same problem some had with Disney/Pixar's Wall E.

its only a problem when the director or producer are trying to preach to the people when promoting the movie.

if the story was created only for the movie. only for the story then there is no problem.
