Yes BlueSugar, I am aware of that, but this is a bit much, even for Nolan.

Not a big deal though, just sayin.

He's written much more "fake" lines. They are all "saved" by the performances.

I remember back to the times of TDK when a guy on IMDB said he had seen the trailer, and it turned out to be complete BS, but I want to believe.

If it is legit then I'm not a hug fan of it, I'm sure it'd be better actually seeing it. The lack of Catwoman disappoints me. :(

People don't talk like that in real-life. The dialogue throughout the trailer (If its real, which I think it is) sounds REALLLLLY overly dramatic.

Unfortunately, that's a problem in all of Nolan's films, and TDKR seems like its the worst yet in terms of dialogue.

Did the lack of 2Face in the TDK trailers also disappoint you?:cwink:

Yeah was hoping we'd get at least one shot of Catwoman. Oh well we get plenty of Selina it seems!

Indeed. Especially considering the freakin' prologue had a glimpse of Catwoman and that is the one not going up in HD :exp:

If "worst" equals "epic", then I'm gload TDKR's dialogue is straight from the gutter!

How is cheesy dialogue considered "epic"?

I'm still super pumped for TDKR, but from what we heard so far, it's oozing with cheese.

I believe in IMDB.

I'm so glad that other people are taking notice of this! Nolan has the ability to really ruin scenes by having overly descriptive dialogue.
Case in point: Harvey Dent saying he was batman. Rachel talks to alfred
Rachel: Alfred. Why is he letting Harvey do this?
Alfred: He went down to the press conference.
Rachel: I know and he just stood by.
Alfred: Perhaps both Bruce and Mr. Dent believe that Batman stands for something more than the whims of a terrorist Ms. Dawes. Even if everyone hates him for it. That's the sacrifice he's making. He's not being a hero, he's being something more.
Now some will argue that this is an integral aspect of the movie, but this is another situation in which we don't need this to be explained! The scene itself explains this to us! We DON'T need Nolan to jam this down our throats.

That description sounds legit and good to me. The Catwoman stuff will come later, now isn't the time.

There was a reason why he didn't show Two-Face, and also, we never even got a picture of what Two-Face looked like throughout the build up to TDK. With TDKR, we have already seen multiple amounts of times what Catwoman looks like, so there is no surprise. It would just be kinda stupid not to include at least a second of Catwoman footage in the trailer.
