any news on the batcave that's something I an intensely interested in

I would like to see what they're going to do

I'm almost positive the location where Bats and Bane face off in the teaser trailer and the Empire photo (the "come at me bro" pic) is the Batcave.

and i wouldnt mind seeing a few throwbacks to the rouges gallery collection, maybe the jokers mask , two-faces coin, r'as sword cane along with other stuff from the 8 years we havent seen

Nolan likes to film a lot of the meatier scenes early in the schedule, like he did with the interrogation scene in TDK, so this could also be the first time Batman encounters Bane.

Irrelevant but I was watching Contagion last night, and noticed that Marion Cotillard arrives in Hong Kong and meets Chin Han (Lau in The Dark Knight).

Well, that is the scene where Bane "breaks" Batman - the shot in the prologue of Bane dropping Batman's mask has that same waterfall behind it - so it would certainly me more dramatic for it to take place in the Batcave as opposed to some random sewer.

Its also something that can't be undone. I'm not saying it isn't the Batcave but as dramatic as it would be this forces the film down a path it'll never be able to veer from.

I know and as I said this can be learned in a different way, in a sewer with the exact same effect.

If they're in the Batcave, what happens to Wayne Manor? What happens to Alfred, who surely is just upstairs.

There's a lot of ramifications that have to be addressed if that's the Batcave and, again, I'm not saying its not the Batcave but, I'm suggesting it could just as well be the sewers and avoid all the trouble of what happens to Wayne Manor throughout the rest of the film.

For example this would have to put every Wayne Manor scene in the film before the fight, correct? Because if Bane beats Batman under the cave why wouldn't he just go upstairs and wreck the place?

It's a foregone conclusion that he knows it now. Keep in mind that Ra's al Ghul knew it in Batman Begins. I think the entire League of Shadows knows.

and you have very little indication that that is not exactly the path this movie goes down.
