DVD subtitles arent perfect thought, Ive seen mistakes in hollywood movie subtitles.

The dumbest thing I ever saw was some guy saying they could never make a DKR movie because "it would be too short",,,his reasoning being that... DKR is shorter in width as a book than a Sin City book...and it took 3 Sin City books to fill up a movie! Never mind, page thickness, how many tiny words and panels DKR crams into a page compared to Sin Citys big splash pages...

Yup. Parts often don't even last one week, and since we'll probably get SOMETHING in 4/5 weeks, it'll be in the 50s somewhere.

Threads with no news last around 3-4 days. Threads with news last only a few hours.

I was too late to respond to the "six or ten" posts that were brought up in the last thread.

That was really a thing? I didn't start lurking these boards until after The Dark Knight was released, so I had no idea. How could anybody possibly think the Joker mouthed the word "ten" right after the detective said six? That makes no sense.

I thought the blue/purple debate was incredibly dumb because it ended up having absolutely no bearing on anything whatsoever. The logo was obviously just a placeholder they threw in at the last moment. The color didn't matter at all.

The info thread died at around the 30s. I remember, because C Lee and I got into a pretty heated discussion about it. I wanted to keep it, so we had a place holder on the numbers. All that was needed was a change in name, but the thread was deleted, and this one came because if it. So technically, we're at around 80-90s.

Ha, that's pretty much what sparked it.

Yeah, I suggested the thread name and Craigdbfan ran with my idea and made the thread whilst the Info Hunters one was filled with nothing but arguing and misery. It was a good call, I think

I suggested the other day that when News starts to flood in again, we ask the Info Hunters thread to be remade. No offense, but this thread is just filled with waaay too much discussion not pertaining to the latest news at hand, so I'd like it back even if this is spiritually the same thread in many ways. News is far too scarce on this film to have to go through tons upon tons of pages of people debating whether TDKR is "realistic" or whether it will beat other films at the box office or whether Catwoman's costume is to people's satisfaction to find discussions on it.

Not really a topic for right now though because I'm pretty sure if a News thread still existed it would be on page 3 right now.
