This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]361075[/split]
Xenforo Cloud upgraded our forum to XenForo version 2.3.4. This update has created styling issues to our current templates.
Starting January 9th, site maintenance is ongoing until further notice, but please report any other issues you may experience so we can look into.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
yeah I know it's what we fans do (always breaking things down to the nth degree) but I can't help but to think of this particular picture. You see Bane with his scars.
Along with this I also spotted someone wearing a Gotham Rouges sweatshirt

I can guarantee they won't be doing digital color correction on the scene. Nolan and Wally don't like loosing their original IMAX negative by putting it through an 8k digital transfer and printing it back on imax stock. That is why there wasn't a whole lot of CGI buildings and trains added to Gotham in TDK.
That is not to say it won't look drastically different from these spy photos, you can do a whole lot of gorgeous work in the development of the film stock.

At Zero7756, considering the extra who tweeted about a hostage scene with Morgan Freeman there, its a possibility Banes guys storm WE and take hostages and equipment.
You don't have to go through a Digital Intermediate to colour correct a picture. I'm not an IMAX specialist, but I don't see why it couldn't be done the "old fashioned way", through various chemical baths for example, just the way it used to be done befor.
Wally will never ever EVER do a DI. EVER. You hear him speak in person, that's made quite clear. That's true, but unlikely.
The chemical process is tricky and sometimes unpredictable, though it has probably been refined a great deal.
Thing is, there's no point. The digital process looks just as good and you've got a far more control over the elements. And especially since there's probably going to be digital snow added, you can bet on some digital tweaking.
My thoughts on all these new photos... and new news...
-Looks like the memory of Harvey Dent is alive and well. I'm glad they are going to evoke his memory into the storyline. Wonder how it will play out.
-Bane's henchmen look like League of Shadows members to me. I can't see how it can be denied that Bane is tied to the LOS, tied to Ras, and more reason to believe that Talia will show up.
-I also agree that spy pics don't give an accurate representation to what we will see on screen. I remember the spy pics of Heath as the Joker and thinking it looked weird, odd, etc. ... then on screen it looked GREAT!

They do chemical color-timing. It's actually faster and cheaper than doing a DI. Or so he says, I'm not familiar with the process myself.
Those are just mercenaries hired by Bane. Again, nothing leads us to believe LoS is involved in any way.
Nope, Wally and Chris have never done a DI. Wally even said he'd retire if he was forced to do one.Must've been a new development with Dark Knight-- it still had a digital look to many of the scenes, but I guess the chemical process may've developed more than I thought.
Coulda swore I saw a Davinci logo in the TDK credits, though.
Was this the case with Batman Begins as well? The stuff in the burroughs looked intensely digital to me.
