I don't know but it could be a similar revolt to Bruce's in a way.

You actually want the ending to be that Batman retires after 1 year, stays retired for 8 years, and then comes back only to retire for good? And the whole idea of Bruce turning over the duty to protect Gotham to a random beat cop nobody has ever heard... wow. Honestly, i would all respect for Nolan if he gave us such a lame ending.

We do NOT KNOW that Batman is gone the whole eight years. As far as I know, this has NOT been confirmed. So why are you posting as if it has been?

It can't simply be because an eight-year gap between TDK and TDKR has been confirmed, can it? Because that says nothing about whether or not Bruce was retired...

Still can't believe how people can say Hardy's Bane doesn't look strong or imposing enough. His shoulders, neck, traps, chest and back look especially powerful and big, his arms aren't as small as people make them out to be either.

For the limited time he had, Hardy really did well with his physique.

Yeah he did. He was at his biggest at the first month or so of shooting. I'm guessing they shot all the shirtless scenes very early on. I remembered there was a break at the shoot and people were shocked at how thinner he got just after a month or so.

I'm almost certain. We've only seen him with bare arms in the UK shoots. Hardy's arms being covered in tattoos probably helped that decision.

The final episode will be a culmination of stories: Bruce's story on how he can deal with his parents and all the doom and gloom in his life. The LoS and their role in the destruction and resurrection of Gotham. The Batman Legend story of how the symbol is what strikes fear in those who are corrupt and evil. It will end like the Dark Knight Return's, with Batman training others to fight crime and defeat corruption. His real mask is Batman and he cannot live with out it.

I don't know. I was once convinced that he and Talia were married but if he's not in the LOS then I'm not sure. Maybe she really did come to Gotham to keep an eye on him and will ultimately be responsible for his demise.

I've never believed the people saying this believe their own words tbh. The guy looks huge and bloody terrifying.

Yeah I noticed him smaller in NY than in PBurg. Although if he's doing that much physical exercise in such hot weather, he could have basically sweated off that weight

Eh, there's nothing wrong with wishing he was a bit bigger - particularly his arms. The look he has is serviceable, but I can't help but wonder what Hardy could've done with even a couple more months of training.
