Yeah. I saw that was possible. It was at 92.4++ so a few more fresh reviews could have definitely got it there. I almost put that in, but figured the trend indicates 92. Hope I'm wrong.

To add to what I said above, if it gets more than 2 rotten out of the next 31 reviews, it drops to 92 (rounded), but, seriously, we all know that no matter what happens, the general consensus is that this was one of Marvel's very best. The trend has been a little bit worse than that. If it gets more than 5 our of 31, it goes to 91%

I think I have it rated just a tad lower than some others (though it's still one of my favs) because I'm kind of a Thor freak and have been since childhood and he wasn't quite the Thor I really wanted to see. I would have toned down the humor just a tad and made him just a shade more reserved.

It looks like it will indeed end up at 93%. It's a shade over 93% right now and even if it gets another rotten, it will stay there. It looks like maybe all the people who disliked it (or the genre in general) got their licks in early. I don't see very many more reviews coming in at this point.

Waititi has a pretty succesfull streak at RT right now, starting after having acted in Green Lantern. 87%, 96%, 97% and 93%.

Well it's never really a "final grade", since reviews never really stop coming in completely. Even Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk still had reviews added this year, and they were released over 9 years ago. But of course the rate at which reviews come in slows down drastically over time.

Doctor Strange had another 30 reviews added between the point we're at now and the end of the year, and then another 16 in 2017 so far. Looks like Ragnarok will stay at 93% (and if not, probably 92%) for a long time, but you never know.

The flurry of late bad reviews coming in is kind of strange. They almost seem to be timed to coincide with the poor reviews of Justice League. Not that I'm saying there is a conspiracy in play here

Yeah that is odd.

It's not that unusual. Both Wonder Woman and Homecoming hung out at 93/94 for a little while, before settling down to 92. The numerical rating for those movies ended up at 7.6, right now Ragnarok is at 7.5, so it's the same sort of thing.

The very high "fresh" percentages tend to settle down by a point or two by the end.
