Best Storyline: The Coming Of Ga Lak Tus. This was back when I originally took up Iron Man, and we had as close to a full Ultimates roster as we've ever had. This storyline really started off strong, and brought alot of us together for some great posts and fantastic storytelling, worthy of the actual books themselves. It made me proud to be apart of it, moreso than anything else I've done in this RPG.

Best Hero: Spider-Man - Spider-Man9X17. Every time he posts, he makes me feel just a little bit worse about originally wanting to play this character in the RPG. He just gets the character, to a degree I'll never understand. It's almost as if he's Bendis' long lost brother, or something... except he doesn't have Peter being unmasked every other issue. :o Either way, he does the webslinger proud, and I'm looking forward to his stuff in Season IV.

Best Villain: Magneto - Mr. Marko. Hands down, for me. I think Marko does an exceptional job with the character, worthy of Sparta* himself, who was (in my opinion) the greatest Magneto on the boards. Syn's Blackheart came close, and after the arc we have planned for next season, I may change my mind about this... but I really can't wait to see more of Mags.

Best Multiplayer Character: byrd_man - Wolverine, Ghost Rider, (Formerly) Thor. First off, shame on you for giving up Thor, you bastard! :cmad: But beyond that, I think byrd's really shined as far as range goes, with his characters. His Wolverine is spot on, his GR is really interesting, and his Thor was... well, sweaty. But it was a great privelege to work with him as both Tony and Thor, this season. Even if he is a bastard.

Best Developed Character: Scarlet Spider. Okay, this is a bit of a bittersweet award, as I didn't originally like the idea of a 616-style Ben Reilly in the Ultimate verse, being the traditionalist/purist I am. But I gotta admit, Venom160, and to more of a degree SSF, has won me over with the character's development.

Best Rivalry: Ghost Rider/Blackheart. I think EBJ best explained it, so I'll just say kudos to these two. You've both taken characters yet to be (and wrongfully so) ultimized, and made them just as interesting as the existing characters. That takes skill and talent, which you both obviously have.

Best Fight: The Clones vs.... well, The Clones. Not that I've kept track of most of the fights here, but I liked how this one in particular was handled. Spidey's pissed, Scorpion's confused, Spider-Woman's PMSing :-)p) and Tarantula's being an ass. Yet, oddly, they're really all the same person. Add a kick-ass Captain America into the mix, and you've got the makings for some good stuff.

Best Comedic Post: Since I couldn't think of one that really made me laugh, I'll go with this one, as it's more of an "owned" moment: http://forums.superherohype.com/showpost.php?p=12266578&postcount=1101.

Don't mess with Cap. Plain and simple.

Best Post: This'un. And no, I'm not just saying that cause I contributed the scan. I liked it before that. :o

MVP: Feature. No real explaination needed. His work here is the main reason byrd and I recruited him for GM duties over at Dawn Of Marvels, aswell.

Ah, yes. What fun Season IV holds for us. :ninja:

    Thanks, Bruce.

Isn't that rule about Cap always having to say "You think this letter on my head stands for ____?" Still enstated? :ninja: :D

I'm not sure, but since I was the one who threw it out there, I really think it should be. If one day I pick up Captain America... BEWARE!

P.S: Thanks for the award MB. :yay:

Best Storyline: Gah Lak Tus. This was the only arc the whole season that incorporated someone in someway. I loved the way the other players contributed to make this a great arc, and I was glad I joined up in the middle of it so I didn't completely miss out.

Best Hero: Gotta say Spidey. Spider-Man9x17 does a great job portraying him, and no matter what the arc is, Spider-man always seems to stand out. He's been through a lot this season, and one can only hope that no matter what the problem is, Peter Parker will always be as good as he is now.

Best Villain: I gotta say Gah Lak Tus. (I would be biased and say BH, but I am not a selfrighteous guy. Today :ninja:) Cyrus did a good job as the narrator making it come here and nearly kill our entire planet. I think when you have a villian that almosts eats earth, it has to win this award. But everyone contributed to his character at least a little. I did like Gah Lak Tus, and one of my favorite parts about him is that he isn't evil. He just does what he wants (or needs) to live.

Best Multiplayer Character: I'm going to have to say Master Bruce. Like EBJ said, sometimes it takes him forever to get a post up, but when he does, it doesn't dissapoint. He's also influenced and developed many characters this season, and I'm sure he will continue to do so.

Best Developed Character: God this ones hard. I'm going to have to say a tie between EBJ for Spider-woman and byrd for Ghost Rider. He took a character with barely any real development from the comics, and turned it into an interesting character to read. Being a guy and writing for a woman isn't easy, let alone a female Pete, and I think he did a good job. (And I am sure the lesbian thing didn't influence my decision at all.) Byrd's Ghost Rider was also a favorite of mine. He took a character that was non existent in the Ultimate Universe, and to my knowing had little history here in the RPG, and made it an interesting character. This season developed Johnny's powers, family, and relationship with his curse and body roommate Zarathos. From the begining of this season to the end, I have to say I truly think Ghost Rider had the most told about his story. It was fun working with byrd, and watching as he developed each of the important components of The Ghost Rider. :ghost:

Best Rivalry: There weren't many rivalries this season. A rivarly isn't a a battle or reoccuring fight between hero and villian, it is a continuing and constant fight and struggle between two people who are pitted against eachother to the violent end. I think that BH and GR did have good rivialry, but I am not here to promote myself. I am going to throw this one out to Spider-man9x17 for Hobgoblin and Spider-man. It was good to see Harry as the huge orange fireball, fighting his former friend (and Cap and his former friend's clones) to the end.

Best Fight: A lot of good fights this season. I'm going to have to say the Clone Saga conclusion. So much **** happend, and so many clones died. It was insane. There were clone zombies, malformed and mental clones fighting eachother, with a sprinkly of america's spirit and a huge orange monster and a crazy old cloner ODed on Ozz. I don't think you can beat a crazy battle like that.

Dude, it's Deadpool breaking the fourth wall not in a comic book. I think SSF can have fun with this in the future referring to other poster...

    Best Post: (coming soon)

MVP: I'd have to say Feature too. He has done a great job with his characters, and I really like his Flint Marko. Ultimate Flint had little done with him in USM, and Feature was able to make the character great and relatable. (as relatable as a walking sandcastle can be) Plus, the other guys he played. :oldrazz:

The next award I will give out is:

Pick a clone (other than Spider-Woman because self-promotion is conceited). We all sort of developed them in different ways, and upon further examination, you see that each clone is a magnification of one element of Peter Parker.

Tarantula is the more light-hearted side of Peter.
Scarlet Spider is the more aggressive side of Peter.
Scorpion is the crazier side of Peter.
Kaine is the dark side side of Peter.
And Spider-Woman (obviously) is the feminine side of Peter.

Tarantula (Venom160), Scarlet Spider (Spideyssuperfan), Scorpion (Syn (Mercenary))

    Continuing on with:

One storyline in particular brought about the end and resurrection of everyone's favorite team. And so, for this reason, I affectionately call it:

Thunderbolts Disassembled/Reassembled (Feature, byrd_man, Mr. Marko, Noon, and to some extent Syn (Mercenary))

Here be my awards. Thanks to all those who gave me props.

Best Storyline: The Attack of The Clones!!!!!!" It was as enjoying as it was confusing. Between half a dozen spidey's running around, ****ed up looking Ultimates, and Cap being Cap. This was my favorite of the bunch.

Best Hero: Spider-Man: What can I say about Spidey9X17's portrayl that hasn't been said already. I loved it, and I'm not even a Spidey fan.

Best Villain: Blackheart: Wow, Syn did such a good job. I'm starting to think he's actually channeling hate for me into his portrayl of BH.

Best Multiplayer Character: MB: When he post, it's cherry. I feel sorry I bailed out on him as Thor next season, but as Tony and Daredevil, he'll have pleanty of quality stories to tell.

Best Developed Character: Sandman: Feature turned a sandy thug into a hero I actually cared about and wanted to see him get it on with Carter. I hope we get to see more of his past next season.

Best Rivalry: Harry Osborn and Peter Parker: They didn't meet until the end of the season, but when they did...wow....damn. I'm speechless.

Best Fight: Thor and Dr. Strange vs. Gah Lak Tus: I'll break my rule of mentioning any of my work with this one. It's not because I had anything to do with it, it's just that two of Ultimate Marvel U's biggest flakes came together to save the world.

Best Newcomer: EBJ, SSF, Syn: It's a three-way tie for this one. You three crazy bastards proved to be the shot in the arm this RPG needed. The last season had 880 IC post that took a year. This season had 1,100 in just eight months. Shine on, you crazy mother ****ers, shine on.

MVP: Feature and Venom160: While Venom is still the good cop to my bad cop, Feature is the sweaty black guy who's our police chef that's "getting too old for this ****." Watch you ass, V. He's on your tail.

Thanks Syn, EBJ, and Byrd for the awards.

    By the way, this:

Was the funniest thing I ever read on here. Not only did I laugh out loud, I felt the need to tell my girlfriend about it, who then called me a loser, so (inspired by byrd) I gave her five across the eyes, then I smoked a joint, watched time-lapse videos on youtube while eating chocolate cereal, then took a nap, woke up, typed this and long story short: I have to continue studying for my exam and will probably have my awards up either tomorrow or Thursday.

    Sholy hit...Spider-Woman - Best Hero?

Now there is an award that I honestly never expected. Especially not with all the other quality characters out there. Come to think of it, there isn't a character here that isn't interesting to read.
