Thank you.

It's just very cliche if you ask me. Why not leave him dead at let people truly wonder if he's ever coming back?

Because we know he is coming back.

Even, so the film ending with him appearing truly dead will be too 'grimdark' for the masses.

My whole point is to NOT show he's alive.

Well not everyone would like that just like you don't like this one. I think most would be kinda pissed off if they let everyone think Superman was dead lol. I'd rather they show he's still alive somehow.

I hate that excuse.

Yes it is, but for years now the creators of these cbm have been telling us that they aren't cheesy or stupid or anything like that. We judge them as films now, the same way he judge every other genre.

all writers and creators are self aware to some extent about their source material. In a movie that is about the level power superman has, showing the world his on vulnerability( he is also susceptible to some sort of death) is hardly a bad thing.

using that in a real world drama wouldn't work

Thank you.

Uh...that would be awful.

Personally I like it--very in line with other CBM endings such as TDKR, X2, X3, etc.

There are only 2 things I'm not liking so far about Pale's account:

1. I still don't get why Scoot's character would be hating on Bruce. And why do that subplot if the dude's just gonna get blown up?

2. The knightmare seems silly--- all that post apocalyptic future just so flash can tell Bats to save Martha? I'd understand if it was an alternate future where Martha-less Supes has gone rogue, but the way the story plays out, that's not possible. So what's the point, other than cool/visuals and actions? Why does Bruce even need the warning?

1. I may be wrong but doesn't it say that it turns out that Lex is the one sending them?

2. I swear I read that the knightmare was put in kinda last minute by Zack to further show what Superman could do if that 1% chance did happen. But yeah it does sound kind of...weird. Like, how does he get the vision? Is that explained?

The entire idea is meh if you ask me. Kind of rolled my eyes when I read it.

batman gets the vision from krypton tech

To each their own. I love the idea of using supermans death in that way.

I just wanna know when we get to first see Diana, since I'm a big WW fan.

Yea I'm still confused on how the knightmare scene works.

Pale you have any clarification on the visions? How does bruce get it? How does the flash show up if it's just a vision? Flash can walk in dreams? lol

Whose to say it isn't one of many possible futures.

That sucks

Yeah, I was hoping that he wouldn't return until the second Justice League movie... Or the end of the first one. Knowing he's alive right away kind of takes away from his death. For me anyways. How long is the world without Superman? A day? A few days? A week? A month? Not long enough for the world to actually appreciate him in his absence when the world is in danger. That's my reasoning. Plus I liked the idea of the Justice League forming in order to compensate for his absence.

I'm not being pessimistic about Superman, I just want them to use his death to it's full potential. That includes a Justice League without him, at first.

I think it's pretty cool sounding if it is a possible future. If Superman gets his mom killed there it could change a lot of things in that timeline. Flash traveling back in time is always awesome sauce for me.

Then why is Flash involved?

if in MOS Jor-El can upload artificial copy of his consciousness, their might be a way in which flash could upload the future to the past, if he is not able to go back in time himself

Probably three. Symbolism and all that.

But Bruce doesn't need the vision. It's her name, and that she's Supes' mom which inspires him to save her. To me, this makes the vision unnecessary. It's not like Bruce is all "oh I better save her cause of that vision". Rather, he's "I'm gonna save her cause she is a mom named Martha, like mine"

Not sold. Didn't they say Cyborg is just a regular joe at this point?

Yep. Maybe there's a post credit where Lois or Bruce goes to the grave and it's empty.

Holy c--p, I bet that's why they chose Easter weekend for the release! It all connects!
