Batman connecting with Ma Kent will be fun to see in the JL.

I keep forgetting that JL is out next year, I end up thinking two years for some reason or maybe it just feels that long lol

Ugh, I just am not for this idea at all, the first time we get to see these legendary icons together, and our main guy gets taken out of action. That just doesn't sit right with me.

But.

This film has my money anyway and I will give it a fair shake and hope they can win me over with their execution of it. Still bummed though.

I think that leaked shot of DD is right before this shot.

I like Aquaman's cameo than the rumored one of him being held prisoner by Lex and really dig that Cyborg has already been constructed by his dad by the time Bruce sees the video

I remember Terrio talking BvS being the Empire Strikes Back of DC and JL1 the Return of the Jedi.

I guess if Superman dies, that means he has Han Solo's role.

Now thinking about it (not sure if true, just a theory since it's based off the comic storyline and could happen) we could see both Superman and Captain America die this year. That's kinda depressing. I mean Bucky may become the new Cap but having Supers and Steve both die. Both DC and Marvel's big blue boy scouts.

An aside, but Bucky will never become Captain America. Sorry, but Sebastian Stan isn't that compelling of an actor and Marvel Studios, we, and everyone else knows that Sebastian Stan cannot fill Chris Evans' shoes. There's more chance of Anthony Mackie's Falcon become Cap over Sebastian Stan's Bucky.

That said, while yes, Superman's death in BvS might as well be similar to Han's carbonite freezing, Superman is much more the Luke of the DCEU than the Han. But yeah, both could very well die on the big screen this year, adding yet another point of comparison between the two films.

Great point. I've always felt she never received her due attention.

Yeah, they always show Bruce thinking mostly about Thomas when dealing with his parents' death. Martha is always like 'I'm here tooo'.

It still bugs me about the vision. How can batman have a vision with the flash from the future? I could understand if the flash came back from the future and told him about it then we saw it but how do you just randomly have the future envisioned in your mind with characters you've never seen?

The idea of Martha being a mother for Clark and Bruce is genuinely sweet. It would be nice to see them go that route in the future.

This thread is going to explode tomorrow isn't it?

It's physically impossible to travel to the past, but it's physically possible to watch it and send light to it. Terrio has read physics to write flash.

That sure would hinder a lot of potential flash movie stuff if they didn't allow time travel backwards.

Tbh Time travel ruins everything, reducing every conflict to "why don't they just travel back in time before he/she was born and kill the mother" and such. It's better not to break Flash that much.

We don't know that. I'm still going with the idea of Supes showing up in WW before JL since they're right after each other

Maybe WW can end with her visiting Superman's grave and it's empty or the dirt levitates or something

Yea man. Not a huge fan of characters just being able to time travel.

It's almost like we're talking about comicbook properties that demand a suspension of disbelief.

Also, so long as there is something we don't understand about the cosmos, we can never say anything definitive about the nature of it. What scientists do is assign theories, models, and hypotheses varying levels of confidence. It's the same with philosophers. Epistemology 101, and all the room a film of this nature needs to take liberties.

Speak for yourself. I love the time travel stuff involved with flash.
