Just got back from my screening

Supes is basically defeated and Bats is about to impale him with the spear and Supes says something about "saving Martha" referring to his kidnapped mom (that Lex orchestrated to blackmail him into fighting Batman) and Bats is taken back to images of his own mother's death.

Batman is frustrated trying to understand why he's saying the name of his mother and Lois comes in and tells him that's the name of Superman's mom. So he stops what he's doing and agrees to help Superman.

Those saying that Batman "won" the fight are wrong and are kind of missing the point. Batman had lost before the fight even began.

His first appearance is as future Flash with some futuristic costume poking out of a dimensional crack in space talking to Bruce. This scene was so awesome and the audience who knew who that was and what was happening began clapping. I just need clarification on what exactly he said, I think he was talking about Lois being the key to their survival.

His next appearance is during a scene with Wonder Woman looking at clips of the JL members on her laptop and one is surveillance footage of Flash at a convenience store of some kind buying a soda. A guy is robbing the place and out of costume he stops the robbery and goes back to grabbing his soda and the surveillance feed starts going haywire.

The movie makes it pretty clear that Batman wasn't always this way. The fact that he chooses NOT to brand Luthor in the end is very telling as to how he will be moving forward.

This scene was so awesome and the audience who knew who that was and what was happening began clapping. I just need clarification on what exactly he said, I think he was talking about Lois being the key to their survival.

I don't disagree with you at all. It just seemed like after Supes got his strength back after taking that first kryptonite round it turned into a straight fight. I had problems with Batman and his justification for what he was doing so I was Team Supes during it, ha. In terms of just physical combat, Superman was seconds away from being finished and so the simple answer to did Batman win is yeah, if you wanna get deeper into what was really going on absolutely, Superman was the bigger man.

Regarding Dan Amboyer The Air Force/armed forces refer to him as Lt. They don't call him Hal or Lt. Jordan. I thought they said Hal in the second scene when he's in the jet but his superior calls him Highball. I am a little pissed but that they decided not to introduce GL is some way. They have some B list actors like the guy from Scandal and Eureka as Silas Stone, recognized his voice. Alot of familiar faces...well some! Not a lot. A lot would detract the audience. They could have used him for an easter egg or some other minor comic character but they didnt use him this way. It sucks, it really sucks but I don'the think he's Hal. Dan Amboyer, he's in a few scenes. It's on a framed picture in Swanwick's former office where a Senator (not Holly Hunter) visits after the attack in the courtroom. I couldn't make it out. The other time he is on screen is in the jet headed to the desolated part of Metropolis...or Gotham. Idk. Confusing! I think it was an off site cadmus labs or island (still destruction though ) There is a service tag but it's all covered by buckles and safety belts. In my personal opinion I don't think He's GL. Pissed that Dan used all the speculation for his 15 mins of fame.

Damn the guy betta be prepared for angry fans.

Why are we using spoiler tags in a spoiler thread? Hal Jordan's callsign is "Highball", maybe they left his actual identity ambiguous on purpose. Perhaps that pilot is Jordan, perhaps he is not. I didn't expect to actually see the guy in the movie, but I expected Amboyer's role to be some sort of easter egg towards him and seems like that's what we got.

And how did Lois know that she should retrieve the kryptonite spear? Especially since she had only just thrown it away before trying to retrieve it.

Finally, why did Bruce blame Superman for the explosion when he thought Wally was behind it? Because Wally was injured in Zod's attack and Bruce blamed Superman for that attack? Or did Bruce just lose it due to trauma from Robin's death and whatever else has happened to him?

So, how did Lex master the Kryptonian language to take control of Zod's ship? Or did the ship communicate in English even though he used Zod's fingerprints to access the ship?

It communicated to him in English, and it asks him if wants to learn Kryptonian secrets or something like that and he just replies for it to teach him everything. We don't see any of it though, really.

And how did Lois know that she should retrieve the kryptonite spear? Especially since she had only just thrown it away before trying to retrieve it.

Haha, I thought the exact same thing. It wasn't communicated to her or the audience that anyone got in touch with her to retrieve that spear. Maybe something was cut but that stuck out to me. I thought it was odd she tossed it down there in the first place, but whatever.

Finally, why did Bruce blame Superman for the explosion when he thought Wally was behind it? Because Wally was injured in Zod's attack and Bruce blamed Superman for that attack? Or did Bruce just lose it due to trauma from Robin's death and whatever else has happened to him?

I think it was a combination of Wally being a result of the Metropolis disaster which in turn killed hundreds more I assume in the Capitol bombing, and then him also seeing that "You let your family die" letter during the hearing he thinks came from Wally but came from Lex. That's what I get from it now that I'm thinking about it. He stole the kryptonite immediately after this scene so he felt like he had to step in now.

Yes I am aware of Hal's callsign. But Jekecy and some others who's seen the movie have confirmed that the rumour I posted above is fake and Amboyer couldn't be spotted in the movie.

1:How much do we see diana prince before she is seen as wonder woman for fight against Doomsday / About 4 small scenes. We see her at the banquet for Lex in a red dress, at a museum I believe where Bruce does the "I've known a few women like you", then at her apartment I assume where she gets an email from Bruce about the photograph she was looking for, then on a plane about to leave but she walks off the plane to go help with the Doomsday situation.

2:Am I right in thinking diana crosses pathes with bruce at 2 different public events / Yeah, that's right. The Lex event and I believe a museum where she was checking out a sword.

3:Were there romantic sparks between bruce and diana as one clip seemed to hint at / I got none at all.

4:Is it true bruce sees photos of diana from 1918 in data he steals from Lex / Yeah, it's a group photo of Wonder Woman, Steve Trevor, and a few other soldiers. It actually gave me chills because I loved Bruce's reaction to seeing a near 100yr old picture with a woman he saw the night before or whatever ha.

5oes wonder woman talk with batman and superman before fight against doomsday start / She jumps in and saves Bats from the energy beam. Then I think Supes flies in and knocks DD out of the picture for a second and they share a few lines and Batman brings up the kryptonite spear that can kill it. I think Wonder Woman brings up how it feeds off of energy as well in that moment. They don't introduce each other, it's just like, this thing is getting stronger, is she with you? I thought she was with you?

1. Not much. At an event with Bruce and Clark. At a second event with Bruce only. In some computer files (two photos). In a couple of small scenes in a hotel lobby and hotel room. And another small scene on a plane. Not too much more than what was revealed in the trailers.

2. Yes. Two events.

3. That wasn't my interpretation. They had chemistry, but it was more mutual respect and interest as opposed to star crossed lovers.

4. Yes. Just one photo of Diana and some comrades, presumably taken on the set of her solo movie. And another photo of her in modern day.

1. "reduce"? You mean, 'rescue'? It's the scene from the final trailer with the Batman action scene of him destroying that room of thugs. In the end Ma Kent has a flamethrower pointed at her in a standoff with the hostage taker and Batman shoots the backpack of the flamethrower and rushes over to cover Ma Kent with his cape and suit I assume is fireproof.
2. In underwater footage being watched by WW he's seen swimming out of a sunken ship towards the camera and he attacks the camera with his trident and blasts off into the distance. People loved it and started clapping. It just felt a little bit awkward for me 'cause he looked like he was posing in front of the camera for a few extra seconds ha, but that's just me.
3. Yeah, he shows up in Lex's cell in the end in his normal costume and threatens him.

2. Nothing of importance. We just see some footage of him taken by an aquatic camera that was exploring a deep sea wreck.

i wondered if one clip was hinting at tribute to justice league animated show since it might be hinting at romantic sparks between bruce and diana at one of 2 public events.I guess i misread that.
