Is Jimmy Olsen in this or not?
Don't remember seeing him but he's in the credits, so I missed him somewhere.
Is Jimmy Olsen in this or not?
It looks like the Doomsday and Justice League questions are covered, so as a Lois and Lois/Clark fan, I'll ask about them.
Okay, so as a Lois fan, I'm curious if anything related to her background is mentioned. Is this Lois the daughter of a general, an army brat? Do we learn anything about her backstory? I'm mainly interested from a canon perspective. I understand if it's not something this film thought was necessary to include.
The Lois/Clark fan in me is interested in whether or not there are any glimmers of their more classic romantic comedy dynamic. The DCEU tone doesn't seem to have room for a lot of comedy, but there were some sparks of banter in Man of Steel. Is there any fun infused in their relationship? Does the film, in general, have some moments of comedy and humor?
No Lois background.
There are a lot of moments in the first half of the movie that you'll love between the two.
Don't know what he said, but far as I could see he's nowhere.
DEFINITELY NO HAL/GL.
Damn, wonder why Amboyer teased his role so much.
Because he's a nobody and he wanted to pretend that he was a somebody while he could.

I have to say I'm disappointed with these superman spoilers. I know I know, let's wait and watch it bla bla bla.
It still hurts to know he gets beaten by Batman and then ends up dead.
Doesn't matter how good those scenes are done, it's still gonna hurt.
I understand how you feel Andreth. Even though I've come to personally accept that this is how the film will go, it's still not easy at times to think about it. I just hope that the execution is done well.
I also hope that the film makes it very apparent that Superman didn't needlessly sacrifice himself. What I mean is that I hope the film shows that Superman was the only one capable of delivering the killing blow to Doomsday and that it's not something that Wonder Woman or Batman could have done on their own.

The CIA photographer who gets shot at the beginning is credited as Jimmy Olsen. He's played by Michael Cassidy of Smallville/The OC fame. Not clear if JO is just a code name or if it was the CIA officer's name.
The way I see it, if everyone is praising this movie from the early reactions, with this info that's in the movie, then its our fear thats making us act like this.

The Aquaman scene was kind of awkward at first. But awesome when he blasted the camera away. He also got the biggest cheer from the audience I was with.
For me the biggest cheer was the Wonder Woman hero shot when her electric guitar riff kicks in.
"Hurr, 'Is she's with you' is not WW's theme." Feels so good to be proven right. For me the biggest cheer was the Wonder Woman hero shot when her electric guitar riff kicks in.
I think Cavs cemented his status as THE current Superman. Here indeed was the Titan in human form that just wants to do simple, good things, confronted with the world as it is where that is not always easy, even for one so singularly powerful as he is. He shows the heart of Superman, no matter what anyone thinks.
Yep fake. I didn't even notice him in the film at all.Jekecy, so this Dan Amboyer rumour was fake as h****?

Regarding Dan Amboyer The Air Force/armed forces refer to him as Lt. They don't call him Hal or Lt. Jordan. I thought they said Hal in the second scene when he's in the jet but his superior calls him Highball. I am a little pissed but that they decided not to introduce GL is some way. They have some B list actors like the guy from Scandal and Eureka as Silas Stone, recognized his voice. Alot of familiar faces...well some! Not a lot. A lot would detract the audience. They could have used him for an easter egg or some other minor comic character but they didnt use him this way. It sucks, it really sucks but I don'the think he's Hal. Dan Amboyer, he's in a few scenes. It's on a framed picture in Swanwick's former office where a Senator (not Holly Hunter) visits after the attack in the courtroom. I couldn't make it out. The other time he is on screen is in the jet headed to the desolated part of Metropolis...or Gotham. Idk. Confusing! I think it was an off site cadmus labs or island (still destruction though![]()
) There is a service tag but it's all covered by buckles and safety belts. In my personal opinion I don't think He's GL. Pissed that Dan used all the speculation for his 15 mins of fame.
Damn the guy betta be prepared for angry fans.
