Just came back from my second screening. Michael Cassidy is indeed credited as Jimmy Olsen, so is a character called Lana by the way. (Will have to look out for her next time)

if i would have to add... just to put in some korean drama...

after the fight.

they transported superman to lois lane.

superman feebly wakes up and lois breaks into a cry

superman in weak : is .. is it... is it dead?
lois concerns by looking at his pale face : yes.. yes... you have done it. you have save all of us once again.
superman : is.. is it enough?
lois can't answer him... she looks at batman and wonderwoman who standing behind and nodding their head...
lois : we need to bring you to the...
superman caresses on her face : you look so beautiful, lois...
he wants to kiss her but can't move himself
superman : may i kiss you...
lois laid forward and cry...
they have the last kiss... superman's hand fall from her face gradually...
we see they embrace together with the torn american flag at the distance...

too dramatic?

Correct me if I am wrong. But at the end of the credits It says Lex/OS:MGRAVES:Lexicon. Is this the user name and password for the LEX/OS webpage?

God,. i dont get this movie. DC is trying to get SUperman popular again,. yet they let him get his ass straight WHIPPED by bats? lol yea ok.

that's what my worries and i stated clearly in the skeptical thread that i would not forgive / kill zack if :-
superman didn't get the right treatment as batman is the star as compare;
superman will get defeated by batman;
superman will be killed in the end.

yet... i loved this movie.. and think it is the best superman movie so far. strange am i?

I just came from watching the movie and It is grate 10/10 in my book. This is a Fan Movie cause there are so many Easter Eggs that if your not a fan you will actually loose them all. Also parts of the story in general are only for fans that know the comic book history and not for general audience.

Saw the film and enjoyed it.

It has some pacing issues, there's a lot going on and it can drag in places, especially midway, but overall i found the story rather good.

If you're looking for light/dark balance in this story, you won't get it. It's grim, sombre, and dark all the way through. Didn't bother me, but for some it may be a bit much.

Ben was good as Bats, looked great in the costume. Most people seem to be hating Jessie as Lex, i thought i would but i actually think he made it work. Gal was cool, though she isn't given too much to do, but what she is given works and seeing her at the end show up to fight Doomsday was very cool.

The score was amazing, its huge, loud, big choirs, epic scope, Wonder Womans tribal drums theme was my favourite.

The JL cameos felt a little shoe-horned in, but i can't deny i didn't geek out when Flash makes his cameo or when we see footage of Aquaman, Mamoa looks badass.

I do think the film is being unfairly bashed by critics, while i can see how some may take issue with certain things, this is by no means a 32% rating movie imo.

I'd prob give it a 3.5/5

Well after people condemned him for jumping over a tanker that hit a parking lot, I assume the only way to show hes truly a protector is to give his life to the cause... im sure that is Un-Superman in some way....

I loved Martha Kent Rescue scene from Alfred taking control of the BATWING to Batman emerging from the floor fighting those thugs and when he finds Martha kent and says he is a friend of her son She says" I knew it because of your cape"

Lol.so they turned Olson, supermans pal for over seventy years, into an extra that gets shot.

Never change, Snyder.

No they did not...dear sweet god see this movie for yourself before judging it....when the guy is pleading with his life he says something about falsifying his credentials to get close...so the CIA agent was pretending to be Olsen.

After seeing the movie, it feels to me that this is more of a Batman movie guest starring Superman than a Superman/Batman movie. The titular fight between the two was quite underwhelming for me too, in fact, it didn't even need to happen, Superman didn't want to fight, but after passing through 2 traps (the sonic and machine gun traps which he could have seen from a mile away) he was gladly bashing batman through buildings instead of flying at a distance and trying to talk to batman reasonably.

What's worse, as I feared, they made him too weak that he got his ass handed over to him, the fight was pretty one-sided. I know they gave him some moments, but really with how the fight turned out, they didn't show enough of him at least controlling his strength, hesitant to fight (maybe even trying to talk to batman while blocking his punches), but could easily toy around with batman at will. He could've easily disabled batman and talk him out of it. Getting gassed the first time was ok, he didn't know batman had kryptonite gas, but twice in one fight? This certainly doesn't look like the Superman that went toe to toe with Zod, Faora, or the other kryptonians in MOS.

It was a step down for Superman. I've said it before that it was a Batman movie with Superman at the center of it.

Yes, it's really strange that they couldn't even give both guys a really good reason to fight the titular fight. The thing for which most people will go to see the movie.

If Batman ends up being the leader of the JL, does Superman join the group or will he go solo thus not being interested in joining the group?

Gotham and Metropolis are now across the street.

WHO KNEW?!

To be fair Metropolis and Gotham have been shown to be across the bay from one another in the comics at certain times:

Smallville was situated pretty close in some of the earlier stories too:

I have one question. How did Batman know Superman is going to attack him, and time of that? I mean, the first time Batman provoked Superman, because he was crushing people with Batmobile.

Superman told him to retire. So Batman put up the sign to provoke Superman. He knew Superman would come as he would have to maintain his credibility.

Superman told him the next time they shine the light don't go to it.
Batman shines the light and stands there.
Not hard to figure out whats coming next.

It works, but there isn't much there. Check yourself, if there is something I missed.

Go try to put it in. Pretty much reveals that the maintenance or whatever will be done by the 25th.... In other words, it'll probably work after midnight. I just hope there's something more to it than just unlocking those other tests.

I understand this reasoning then, I'd have to watch the scene again because I can't remember what was said but I remember one of the rebels saying "CIA".

But anyways, why couldn't they just credit the guy as CIA Photographer or something? It's not like he's called Jimmy by anyone. It also didn't seem like anyone back at the Daily Planet gave a s**t about losing one of their own. I don't know, sure seems fishy.
