I think the Knightmare sequence is entirely about Darkseid, Lois is the key to something, and involves the anti-life equation. Don't ask me why, but I just have a feeling.

I don't think Batman was in full dick mode, he was furious and thought he had to put him down once and for all.

Am I the only one who really loved the courtroom scene? It was so powerful. I saw that glass with the Grandma tea thingy and I was like "was she poisoned? what's going on?", and then, boom.

Well, mayeb Lois helps Bats track down the JLers while Supes is gone? Lois is the key to Bruce finding them?

I can't wait to see how Superman returns. A lot of sniffling going on at my screening from "filthy casuals" during the last 15mins of the movie. That's a good sign LOL.

Loved the courtroom scene. Superman standing there in the flames and rubble with survivors guilt.

I can see where Bruce is coming from. His fears. But it's still a dick move to provoke a guy when he comes to reason with you. I bet Superman calling him by name only made him angrier.

The ending really touched me even though I couldn't really shed tears as I knew that Supes would return. Although I wasn't sure if they'd have him right at the end coming back to life, but it makes total sense for them to end the movie on that half a second shot of the dirt floating, that's just great.

@Lone: Well, Bruce is just blinded by rage at this moment, he just wants to kick Supes' ass and be done with it. Just love that moment where he's about to stab Supes and Supes says "Martha !"

The movie was really bad. I couldn't have even imagined that it would be this bad. All I wanted was Man of Steel 2 but then I get this. There are just too many characters. Many times I was just wishing that it would have been either Batman or Superman solo movies instead of this. There were great scenes here and there but they don't save the movie. I liked Ben Affleck as Batman and Jeremy Irons was great too so I can't wait for Batman solo movie. I have to say that the ending really suprised me because I didn't expect it to happen now or ever in the movies.

Anyone noticed that the scene where Supes is unconscious in space and his face is deformed from the rocket explosion, is straight out of Dark Knight Returns?

Also, who else loved the Bats/Supes fight? It was my favorite scene from the film. Batman basically kicked Supes' ass.

Cavill was great in this too. I hope he gets to play Superman for as long as he is able to.

I think the Knightmare sequence was done in a way so that the GA can interpret it as being about Superman. Lois is the key is, at first glance, about Batman needing to listen to Lois so he's doesn't try to kill Superman.

However, to a fan, I think it's about Darkseid. I think Lois will play a large role in taking him down. I think this because Flash asked if he was too soon. To me, that indicates a threat outside of anything we saw in the film including evil Supes.

It'll be interesting how the events of BvS are played out in future DC films? Suicide Squad will likely mention the death of Superman either by Waller or one of the villains.

Out of interest, is there any references to other DC characters outside of the JL members?

I didn't remember that ! The imagery was awesome I thought. Fong's cinematography is gorgeous, although the 3D definitely took away from the experience for me.

Loved the Bats/Supes fight as well, they really sold it, I remember at first when the project was announced "meh this is so dumb, MAKES NO SENSE, they can't FIGHT, STUPID SNYDER". Yeah well, it totally works, and yeah he smacks his ass good !

Yes to the deformed part. The BvS fight was basically Batman using hacks. There was a moment where you can see Batman almost ****ting his pants. We shouldn't spoil the details of the fight though. People need to see it IMO.

Man, did I lose my **** when Bruce sees a photo of Wonder Woman with the characters from the solo movie, and then Diana checking Lex's files with the Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman and WW's icons, so freaking cool.

I never felt the Justice League stuff was shoehorned in, it felt right to me, I hope there's more of it in the extended cut.

It looked like CG over Ezra's face to me which is why it looked weird. Bruce wasn't the only one. Clark totally had a "the **** is going on?" look when he saw Jonathan.

Yeah, it wasn't like they just happened to stumble across this footage. Lex had it as part of his Metahuman Thesis. The guy was working to build weapons against them. They fit right in with the plot of the film.

Not entirely, as that would destroy Batman in seconds. But in the scenes where he has power, you can see Batman getting the ***** scared out of him.

I would have left Wonder Woman and Doomday out. I want my Batman movies to be somewhat realistic so I don't want to see any CGI cave troll jumping around.

I thought the first time we see Batman was unintentionally funny. Such an awkward position. Didn't find it funny the moment he started to move though. You've never seen a live-action Batman move like this.

You have the Keaton and Nolan movies for that. This is comicbook Batman brought to life and about damn time too.
