Cavill's already talked about getting ready to film Justice League, so we know Superman will be in it.

Plus he was in that concept art shown in the DCEU special...

Neither do I. That new reddit "leak" has me confused because he says a couple things that don't add up.
1. He doesn't mention the opening credit montage, but those guys who reviewed it did.
2. He says that the first time we see Supes is at the senate hearing, which I don't believe.
And some of continuity things that don't add up.

Its because its more than likely a troll. Like all of the details he gives are oddly vague, and continually contradict things that have been said by other or officially confirmed. I think he's just followed the rumor mill and cherry picked plausible solutions.

i mean i can believe the part about the hearing being the first time we see supes... maybe not clark, but supes yea... that is probably very early on in the movie... I'd imagine the scene we see where he is flying over the streets could even be him heading to the court house.

But many of us believe the senate hearing is later on in the film because we need time for Lex to manipulate the Senator and we believe that the hearing is for some big moment that happens on foreign soil ala Russian rocket rescue.

You're wondering what goes on in Snyder's HEAD regarding the JL setup, and you DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW THE MOVIE ENDS. Sense. That makes none.

I'm just prepping myself to be ready in case Superman dies and stays dead at the end of this film.

I'd rather be safe than sorry later on since there are a lot of indicators that they could go that route with this film.

Herolee man you're overthinking **** too much. You're latching onto this when we honestly know nothing as of now. Let's at least wait and see.

Well if I had to be brutally honest, even I think I'm being somewhat obnoxious about this as well.

See, the most frustrating part about all of this, is that this film easily has the potential to be A GREAT film with Superman in it. One that could really be great in the eyes of many. And that's what gets me excited as a Superman fan.

On the other hand, there's also the chance that while this may end up being considered a great film still, when it coms to how it handled Superman's character, it could end up being very terrible on that front alone.

I didn't wait to see Superman get involved in this shared universe only for him to die in a film that involves him getting his ass kicked and spotlight taken by the likes of Batman.

Nor do I want to see him end up being regulated to a one act wonder by being revived in the JL film just so that he only be involved in the final fight against the big bad.

Looks more like the Kent farm IMO which lines up with rumors of the movie ending with the trinity having a meeting there.



Part of the nightmare sequence or vandalised Superman statue ala the "false god" one we saw in the trailer.

We have set photos to show that they filmed a scene at the SV cemetery so there's a stronger chance that Diana and Bruce are there instead.

And where did the info about the Statue being a part of the Knightmare sequence come from?

First, despite my avatar I am a massive Superman fan - he and Batman are always a dead tie for my fave superhero of all time.

Second, we get the movie on March 24th down here, and I'm booking tickets tomorrow. Due to the time difference ( you folks in North america, central time are about 6 hours ahead...yesterday ! in the UK you're about 12 hours behind us) anyway, due to the time diff, I'll see the film nearly 2 days before the rest of the world, and as soon as I have I'm happy to post as many genuine spoilers in this thread as people want, as well as a totally spoiler loaded review.

I mean, I just have to. I know it's still not much of a help with the wait, but some of you are stressing out about this film - and it's the least I can do to help get people over the wait.

Like many of you I too am losing my mind about this movie (particularly on how Bats v supes goes down, I mean I've accepted that Batman has to win but if it's by more than the narrowest of margins I will be pretty disappointed. After Snyder did a great job IMO with Supes in Man of Steel, it would suck if he turns him into Batman's punch bag...ugh ! can't even say that....

Anyway, catch you all in a mere 7 days !

I'd love for him to die and STAY dead. Someone had a really good post a few pages back about how if Supes is dead that's the real reason to form the Justice League. Wonder Woman for his strength, the Flash for his speed and so on. I'd love to see him come back to life as a cliffhanger for Justice Leage #1. If he dies and comes back at the end of the movie I'm going to be like, "Meh...".

Here's how I think it plays out:‎

1. Supes/Bats are wary of each other--Supes gives warning (the bat is dead).

2. Bats gets K-rock, builds Mechsuit to destroy Supes.*

3. Mechsuit fight initiated by Bats. Supes doesn't want to kill him. K-rock helps Bats "win"

4. Bats' "victory" is short lived because Lois, trying to escape Lex, who has kidnapped her, gets in mortal danger.

5. Supes is too weak to save Lois, so Bats does. *Truce is called--Lois reveals Lex's DD plans and they know he's the enemy.

6. Supes, having recovered, goes to Lex (what have you done?). Lex says he will release DD on humanity unless Supes fights Bats to the death. *

7. Supes refuses because he knows Bats doesn't stand a chance. * The mechsuit was destroyed and Bats has K-rock but it won't be enough without the extra strength of the suit. He kneels before Lex to beg him to reconsider his plan (kneeling scene). *Lex sneers, Supes goes to stop him. Too late. DD unleashed.

8. Superman knows it's his fault, so he is willing to die to stop DD. *He takes him into the atmosphere and tosses him far away into space, but crashes back to Earth.*

9. He comes back to life; story ends with Bats thanking him and trusting him.

Thoughts?

So has everyone heard the new rumor that The Flash (and possibly Black Adam) kill Superman? And The Flash pleads to Batman to not let it happen in the future. This is apparently a knightmare scene.

I don't think so. I only saw him answering questions about scenes that we've seen through promotional material. Everything else, he gives cleverly worded, vague answers to.

There might be an Easter Egg for him, but otherwise, no.

Saw another leaked picture, the spikes on his back look A LOT bigger than in the trailer. It's a side shot. Also looks like a big spike on his chin. His head looks pretty bald though.
