The Walking Dead The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 10 "Home" Discussion Thread

There was an interesting dynamic where Merle could of redeemed himself on the road , but people would critize Daryl for letting the Governer go after his new family.

He already left them. Daryl had a difficult decision to make: Rick's group or his brother, he chose Merle. There's no wrong decision. Merle didn't have to say that spiel about the Governor slaughtering Rick's group and the Dixon Brothers could have continued their separate adventures and later been reunited with Rick in a major moment.

The show seems to have lost all patience after fan reaction to season two's pacing. Can't they build something that will pay off later? They couldn't even separate Daryl from Rick for one episode. Not even one complete episode!

The guy playing Axel is more or less Axel in real life.

I think the Gov's crew left her behind on the wall.

I thought she might of stayed behind and then met up with them later. There was a woman in last weeks episode using a crossbow (iirc). It could of been her.

Someone call Gary Busey.

I seem to recall someone on one of these things regarding TWD making a joke that Busey gets bit by a walker and then the walker gets sick instead of him. :funny:

You know, I was expecting Tyrese's group to join in there at the end. That was all that was missing. And the Morales Family. One big reunion.
Do we even know if Tyrese is gonna be back, or was his inclusion just a nod for the fans?

I'm surprised nobody brought this up, but where was Judith during the chaos going on outside of the prison? Sleep? Nobody was watching her. Maggie (as much as I like her) just left her.

Probably left her in her Lil' Asskicker box.

Considering her own father doesn't give a crap about her enough to get his s*** together, it's no wonder the others have followed suit. I think it was a major oversight to have Beth in the courtyard during the firefight when she should have been babysitting.

Maybe Judith Asskicker Grimes will undergo a Family Ties/Growing Pains style age acceleration and she'll be five years old in season four.

I think it can be a blessing and a curse. We're not going to see much development for secondary characters and other might get killed the moment they start to get interesting,. There's still a few ways to go with Merle and I'm interested in seeing how he acts around the group. I just hope they don't write themselves into a corner.

I'm pretty sure it was, too. Woodbury's low on chicks though. It would'nt be Andrea and the teenage girl got ganked last week, and then there was that *****y broad on the wall. Who could that have been?
:cwink:it was Laurie rick wasn't hallucinating

Did not see that coming at all. It's nice to have a taste of the battle that's going to follow.

It'll be T-Dog.

SURPRISE RESURRECTION, Y'ALL!!!
HEAVEN CANT KEEP ALL THE DAWGS:o

It's just extremely frustrating that Daryl made this huge decision to walk with his brother, a choice that Rick forced him to make, a huge independent character moment for Daryl. Then he's right back in Rick's group the next episode. What. The....

It seems like a cheap way to assimilate Merle into the group as well. "Oh Merle, thanks, you saved my life. Here's some clean clothes and you can have the bottom bunk."

I agree with that. She had no business being out there. Her character isn't really a fighter to begin with. I was also expecting her to get taken out during the shootout, but I guess nobody will babysit Judith if she's gone. Well maybe Carol but...

I don't think the Governor was trying to kill anyone (himself). Except you know Axel. Seemed more like a hit and run.

Also amazing what bad shots the main characters suddenly become. Granted, Rick has lost his grip on sanity, but still.

Who was the guy who got shot in the tower? Looked like the Woodburry nerd guy. But I didn't check.

Why is it amazing? With a few exceptions, most of the past targets of their gunfire have been easy shots, not to mention that they haven't returned gunfire... you know... because they're dead. :o

Them being jittery from a surprise attack makes sense IMO.

It was another thug. Don't think it was anyone we saw before. It looked like Crowley since he had sunglasses, but Michonne took him out already.

Maybe the girl driving the truck was Rowan? Who The Governor was banging in his first episode?
