The Walking Dead The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 13 "Arrow on the Doorpost" Discussion Thread

Oh relax, it was tasteful. At least it wasn't a Game of Thrones sex scene. All **** bouncing and thrusting from behind, good lord... it's almost like the book series is written by a dirty old pervert...

:o
Whoa, whoa, whoa... Gaggie's sex scene wasn't bad, nor was it good, but seriously I physically cringe when it comes to the likes of Lori/Shane, Andrea/Shane, Rick/Shane (hee), Philip/Andrea...

Yes. What does that have to do with these poorly done sex scenes on a television show?
You didn't say they weere poorly done, just that they felt out of place. My comment was that they are all through the comics. That's all.

Does anything think it was worth the risk of getting killed and getting Hersh and Daryl killed in an attempt to kill the gov't at the truce meeting? Or would it have made more sense to hope get out of there in tact only to go home and back to status quo...

what was the better decision from ricks perspective

Oh okay. :O

Well I believe why it feels so out of place, on the show, is that they are poorly done.

I thought the sex scene was fine, and I thought the urgency of it shows the characters' desperation and their need to escape their reality sometimes.

Also, I think Glenn/Maggie is one of the better pairings the show has done.

That's like winning a contest just because you were the only one who showed up. :o

Oh, quiet you! :argh:

Duh. Any sex scene with a male in it is something I, or most normal males, really don't want to see again but to call her Gaggie... c'mon now.

Gaggie is a name for the Glenn/Maggie pairing.

my eyes must be playing tricks on me or something, but in this pic from the Talking dead episode tonight, is there something wrong with the lovely Eliza Dushku, photoshopped head onto her body?

Zanham...you dont know who Glenn is and what Maggie looks like...what gives?

The Andrea hate train is getting sooo old. It's been a while since I've heard a critique with more depth than "she's the worst! ugh!".

Anyway, she's defiantly up to something, and I can't wait to see how it plays out.

She's up to something? Really? She's been clueless from the get go. Sure, NOW she's starting to wise up but honestly, the Andrea hate is completely justified.

Why is she clueless?

Michonne doesn't trust him, and Andrea thinks it's just paranoia. The town does look happy right? They've got a system and it looks good from the outside.

We see her decline in trust after Rick's group busted in on the town, and after she made a visit to the prison. There's been a lot of tension between the Gov and Andrea for the past few episodes.

What has she done to garner so much hate?

Do I need to rehash this? We have a whole thread dedicated to Andrea if you really want to know. It's ok, I always welcome an Andrea apologist.

All I have to say is, in regards to this episode is why the **** would Andrea tell The Governor or Phillip about Shane and Lori? I mean, if thats not enough to see how clueless Andrea is, I don't know what is. But please continue.

So she talked with the Gov about the group, so what?

That conversation could have taken place anytime in the last few months she's spent with him.

Did you just assume she told him on the way to the meetup or something?
