The Walking Dead The Walking Dead Season 5, Episode 6 "Consumed" Discussion Thread

Well, I guess it wasn't completely intentional for Carol to infiltrate the hospital.

Can we replace Hardwick with Yvette Nicole-Brown???

Enjoyed the episode.

Lucky it landed wheels down. Not sure it would do that in real life. :(

I don't think the landing matched the trajectory. When it first slipped off the bridge, it seemed to be going down nose-first and rotating where it would land on its roof.

Thats what I was thinking, but physics seem to behave differently in TV land. :p

Well the thing about the drop is, what if they were both terribly crippled and unable to escape...and a bunch of walkers find there way down there? Yikes.

The van on the bridge had some weird physics. It was flipping upside down in the air and then magically lands on all four wheels. I was like HUH???!!! Fail by the production crew there ha.

Was still funny when you could hear walkers hitting the roof after. :p

I find it very odd there would be this many walkers still in the city. You'd think they have run out of people to eat almost two years into it. Unless it is implied that there were a lot more small pockets of survivors who have slowly been picked off attracting walkers and adding to their numbers.

The remaining zombies are probably just stragglers. I doubt all zombies would leave.

That and Daryl pulls one of his arrows out of a dead walker then in the next scene is holding it between his teeth. That's not very hygienic. :barf:

1. Loving this season
2. This was only an average episode.

yes, we filled in the blanks from Carol's absense but the whole episode was mainly about M. Nighting us on anything we had already made assumptions about from the sneak peaks last week.

The van physics were laughable. A child would spot that something was off there.

Looking forward to seeing some good ol fashioned manslaughter next week.

Episode was anything but average.

A pretty okay episode overall. Its a pretty slow paced show anyway, so I'm used to it. Looks like next week should be a bit more exciting though. And I'll be glad to see Rick's gang again after three weeks without em.
