The Worst movie you've ever seen

Hostel. Never been so pissed off about spending money on a movie. Worst of all..... I knew it would be ass, but I still let my friends make me go.

hmmmm worst movie I ever saw....

really

While not the worst I have seen by any means I always felt the Matrix is WAY overrated. It's heavy handed pop philosophy about a subject (reality vs preception among other things) which has been done over and over and over again in much more intelligent fashions. Matrix, while good, just spells everything out for you.

However the worst I have seen...maybe it was my date, but she took me to see Uptown Girls with Brittany Murphy and oh.my.god. I wanted to kill myself.

honorable mentions

Charles Angels II (same girl for that one as well)
Catwoman
War of the Worlds (Tom Cruise)
Just Married

However to end on a good note (The BEST movies I have ever seen)
The Night of the Living Dead/Dawn of the Dead originals
American Psycho
To Kill a Mockingbird
Memento - Twelve Angry Men
Black Hawk Down - Saving Private Ryan - Glory
Unforgiven
Mystic River
Young Frankenstien.

recently....Date Movie

My girlfriend and I always rent movies in pairs. I choose one and she chooses the other. Last week I chose The Shining......she chose Urban Legends: Bloody Mary. I am still shaking my head at her choice.

Worlock, Stay, Carnasaur, and anything Ben Stiller has been in. :(

The worst movie I have ever seen but actually enjoyed on some weird level would be Killer Klowns from Outer Space. I usually enjoy movie on some type of level, if I see a trailer and don't like it then i won't watch the movie. If I go to rent a movie then I won't rent it if it does not sound at least interesting on some level.

troll 2 wins this thing every time. it is worse than the offspring that house of the dead and catwoman would have, if movies could do it.

Tromeo and Juliet.. :(

that is some ****ed up ****. :(

i love that movie. my wife and i saw that and "terror firmer" at some troma festival at some local indie theater, once. man, i love having a movie company like troma around, just to crank out the most tasteless, raunchy cinema you could ever imagine.

Tori Spelling's The Bomb!

Check out the House of Yes to see her in a better film-type...thing.

yeah, i love that flick. i had a crush on parker posey at the time it came out.

Tough question. I think it would actually have to be Clockwork Orange. That film really upset me.

I've seen plenty of **** movies. But mostly were **** because of budget, so they were flawed to begin with. Saying that, there was just really bad piece of **** that I actually wanted to see upon viewing the trailer.

12 Monkeys That has to be the worst piece of **** (that actually could've been good). Just complete ****.

I Am Sam

Not sure what else can be said, it was basically Sean Penn being himself and screaming "II AMMM SAAM!" during half the movie.

Sky Captain and the World of blah blah blah.

That movie was just annoying.

The Poisedon Adventure from the 80's that was on T.V. a month back or so was AWFULL!!! In every scene they seemed to have to kill someone off.
You're going through a burning room, you hear creaking above you, do you stop and look up or do you run hell bent for leather??? Then you have this group of people that have to climb a shaft in the ship (and I didn't think they had 40 ft shafts inside of ships...) and the guy at the end of the line has a rope and nobody thinks to tie off to each other??? Honestly, it may not have been the WORST movie I've ever watched, but I can't give it a real rating because I didn't watch more than the 15 minutes these two scenes were in. That was more than enough for me.

boondock saints...
goodfather 2 and 3
cat in the hat

The Phantom with Billy Zane
Agreed - it should have been called "The Phallus", because that's what he looked like in his skintight purple one-piece.

There are lots of movies so bad they're funny, but here are a few of the movies that were SO bad, they were painful to watch, and I realise some will fight over these:

-Monkeybone
-Gigli
-Wedding Planner
-Blade Runner

Yes - you HEARD ME. BLADERUNNER was a piece of unadulterated, chunky cow dung!

8 Miles with Eminem....it was the most boring movie I have ever seen
