other contract details

Note 1: It would appear that WWE’s standard contract lengths are 1 year, 3 year, 5 year, 7 year and 10 year.
Note 2: Some performers are offered a higher merchandise royalties percentage for taking a smaller downside. These figures were not made available to us.
Note 3: The executive office and “legends” contracts were not made available to us. These contracts operate on a different system entirely.
Note 4: The Undertaker is believed to be on a per-appearance contract, in which he is paid an agreed upon rate (a long with the typical PPV bonus if he wrestlers) for each appearance he makes for the company. Undertaker of course, still receives his merchandise royalites, etc, but isn’t on a downside contract. Undertaker is not on a legends contact, which means he cannot make appearances for independent promotions.

Bloody heck, Sheamus is already on a massive contract. Btw, where do you get this info from?

Wow, AJ has got one of the poorest contracts there. That hardly seems fair.

I just got it via another forumboard, so im not really sure how legit it is. I do remember the same article been posted a few yrs ago.

These are annual payments per year, right? They seem pretty small when you consider how much football/soccer players get paid in a week.

When you consider that she's pretty much on every show and at every PPV now, it'll add up and give her more. I'm sure she'll be able to negotiate a higher contract anyway around renewal time or maybe during, seeing as she is one of their hottest commodities now.

Although that kind of explains why she can't seem to afford clothes ...

- The dark segment after last night's WWE NXT TV tapings saw Damien Sandow host a talk show called "The Damien Sandow Show." His special guest was John Cena. Cena and Sandow joked on each other before Cena declared he would retain the WWE Title against Ryback at Extreme Rules.

Jim Ross tweeted about the segment:

"@JohnCena & @TheDamienSandow entertaining as hell on 'Damien Sandow Show' here @WWENXT tonight. #betterthandancing #tugofwar Sandow sings"

- The Ryback vs. Daniel Bryan match that will air on tonight's SmackDown is receiving rave reviews from within WWE. One WWE wrestler called it easily Ryback's best match yet.

Impressed with the Ryback and Bryan match, has a PPV type feel to it. Although Bryan lost, I don't think it has harmed him at all, he looked strong. I don't know if it's me though, but the crowd feels to have a bit more atmosphere, considering it's a taped show.

Eve is no longer with the WWE so that's a bit outdated.

The Shield are being booked superbly. Really good match between Kane and Ambrose with Rollins and Reigns as the supporting characters.

Wait til Zeb Coulter finds out that Renee is an immigrant!

Man, I'm really loving the booking of the Shield, Ambrose got to beat Kane tonight and even Kane at his angriest is able to survive their visceral Ambush tactics. I wish we knew who was booking The Shield because they should book everything else imo.

That was a 'Dolph Ziggler-like' bump Reigns took when Kane threw him over the announce table.

Btw, I love Rollins cackle and shout outs of "Yeeessssss!!!..." during matches. Reminds me of Sméagol/Gollum. :D

Impact was lousy this week IMO, the only things I liked were the Knockout's tag match, Angle's promo and the segment with Roode/Aries and Bad Influence, but damn am I sick of team Eddie crutch getting in the way.

Angle vs D Lo and Sting vs Morgan were awful, Morgan looked cumbersome and Sting looks old and is obviously hiding his ponch and moobs under that t shirt, I love the guy but it should be Bully vs Angle at Slammiversary.

The only things worth seeing on SD were the excellent opening match between Bryan and Ryback, The Shield promo and the Kane vs Ambrose main event.
