You'd be forgiven for thinking they're winding down NXT or reinventing the brand. Mercedes Martinez is particularly disappointing, as I remember seeing her in the MYC and thinking she could go on the main roster straightaway. She was that impressive.

I've been begging for Martinez to be in the 'E since I saw her throw down with Mickie James at a local indy show back in 2011. WWE waited too long and ****ed it up from the start.

Sarah Logan got pregnant almost immediately and there's supposedly interest in bringing her back.

The SD women's title scene is Bianca vs Sasha until Summerslam. No one else is getting there after Zelina's match this week. It doesn't stop Liv from feuding with Zelina though. Whether it's next week or after Summerslam. I think the issue is lack of jobber women on the roster. Shotzi & Tegan were called up to feud for the tag titles but Nattie got injured so it's just them vs Tamina.

By the way there's a report that NXT is going to be re-branded with younger talent, new logo, new lighting. Getting rid of 40+ people like Fish and Martinez would be in line with that.
