Yeah that angle makes sense....but it's pretty cringey that they have to make Io and Dakota stooges of Baszler because her actual stooges should be nowhere near a ring never mind War Games and can't perform.

The women's roster in NXT is bursting with talent but is suffering because they haven't moved Baszler on. It finally looks to be happening shortly, but they've only gone and introduced a similar "dominant" performer in Ripley. And Ripley is amazing, but it's going to lead to the same boring ****. I'd rather they slingshotted Ripley to the main roster than go through this tiresome **** formula again.

Baszler does not need to go anywhere. Nor is the roster suffering from having one of the best wrestlers in the world there. You need to get it in your head, NXT is it's own actual brand now. It's on TV. You don't "graduate".

Also no one in this match outside of Yim is anyone stooge. This is War Games in NXT. That is not how they have handled it at all. Everyone i a star in War Games.

The WWE need to stop teasing Finn joining the Club and actually follow through before AJ Styles retires since has signed his final contract with WWE as a in ring performer and none of them are getting any younger.

Mia Yim just rage beating every heel in sight with that kendo stick.

Taynara Conti seems competent enough in the ring now that she should get a actual storyline instead of just being a card filler.

Dakota Kai is the NXT women's punching bag.

Do people like Yim? I don't think she is good at all, and it is cringe every time they try and make her a thing for me.

I want to see Conti actually get a program as well. But then again, I am in love with her so I maybe biased.

Dakota is being set up to be the last member of the Shayna's team. My question is does she turn heel, or does she do it to "prove" herself while staying a face.

Why? Not that I'd put it on Ripley. As good as she is, the belt needs to finally go on a proper babyface before going on Io. I assumed that babyface would be Dakota, but she might not be a face soon. So I guess that leaves her Team Kick partner or Candace. And as much as I like Candace, that doesn't seem right. My soul just hopes it isn't Yim. The only one who pulled off having a bad match with Shayna in like a year.

Tonight is Impact Wrestling's Full Gear on Impact Plus and AEW's Full Gear on PPV.

The ratings for AEW and NXT are close in gap with AEW having 822K while NXT has 813K. Big increase for NXT because of AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and Finn Balor. However, they are still under a million and I see both promotions settling in at 700K-800K range.

That felt really long, and outside of the last match, not all that good. And even that felt gross and long by the end, because it was just brutality for brutality sake. Not even a real blood feud, and it wasn't even done in a manner to cause pain as much as overt shock. Also love to see the old WWE guys just going over everyone. Because AEW is very different from the WWE.

Boy, Moxley wasn't wrong there. At the halfway mark of the match it had already gone on too long. I skipped along through the rest of it. I guess Big Japan would be proud of the effort they put in, but that was just gratuitous bull****.

I was hoping AEW would drag out the MJF story a little longer. I was enjoying that.

The 2 tag matches were good. But I'm a tag wrestling ****e. The rest of the show involved people I don't care about so I didn't watch the matches.

On a side note, from a show I actually enjoyed, see Sydal walk out on his match with Leon Ruff at Evolve 139 was strange. Sposlky said he got injured, but it didn't seem that way at the time of the match, more that he was frustrated that Ruff didn't hit the move quite right. Killed the crowd for a while, took Anthony Henry and JD Drake beating each other purple to get us back (actually, this went a bit too far as well).

The last 2 Shine shows have been the best I've been to this year, so hopefully they keep this quality up into the new year when I go back in February.

omega vs moxley was bad Darth? I found Ambrose vs Lesnar to be disappointing myself.

Count me in on the discomfort watching the lights out match. It was well executed so can't fault them technically but I'm sorry, Mox and Kenny are above that garbage.

I like some of it. As it went on, it became clear that there was no point other then to do the stupidest crap possible. There was no storytelling there, and by the end there was no pro wrestling. By the end of it was exhausted and didn't want to watch it anymore. They made the decision for me to not buy the next PPV.

Brock vs. Ambrose sucked imo. But that doesn't absolve AEW of putting on some CZW crap. I am also finding the defense of this stunt painfully annoying. Not here, but else where. These are the kind of people who enjoy chairshots to the head if the wrestlers "want" to do them.

Also on a completely pedantic level, the match itself made no sense. It is "unsanctioned". Which is why it was on the AEW PPV, with AEW officials, and the PPV didn't end until it did. Sure, sure...
