Babyface comeback and then in less than about five to seven minutes made himself a heel. He was totally screwing with the crowd. That was great! t:

I think Jericho knew the crowd would cheer him upon return, so he did this to drain the cheers out of them.

Think he was basking in the adulation.

Yup. I totally see him talking about how everyone stood up and cheered his name yet they hated him before he left, ect. He's more or less going to make the fans look like asshats.

Jericho is so, SO much better as a heel anyway. I was worried about him returning as megaface.

I loved it. It's not about the fans, it's about Jericho. All will be revealed next week. Remember, the girl represents the WWE universe & the promo stated the boy (Jericho) didn't need her anymore.

That was weird...And like Hunter pointed out, nothing really adds up with the spots.

How didn't it add up? Those spots all kinda boiled down to someone talking about "the end" coming and how he was the one to save them. Look at his stuff in the past. He debuted with a countdown clock like many had talking about the end coming with the year 2000, and then his "save us" promos for his first big return. Now he had promos talking about the end again and he was the one come back for it all.

lmao, that was brilliant heel work. He turned without even saying a word.

Next week he either rips the crowd apart for being foolish enough to cheer him after he called for the end of the world for weeks, or just goes into some crazy messiah character who's here to destroy the WWE and rebuild it as he sees fit or something.

You can try rationalizing it any way but if he doesnt come back out by the end of the show it's probably one of the worst comebacks ever.

Heel/Jackass Jericho has always been better.

Absolutely cannot make sense of the spots though. I imagine a promo next week will speak to it. Still, it'd seem unnecessary (the tone of the spots).

The appearance and attitude just didn't match the tone of those spots. The wording of the promos suited who Jericho is, but the style of those spots didn't.

Exactlly. WWE needs their mega heel and Jericho can definitely pull that off. I smell Jericho vs. CM Punk at Wrestlemania. DO IT!

It was all about building him up. Even if they don't directly address it, which I still think they're gonna make him think he's some crazy messiah or something due to how he looked at the end, the tone clearly built him up to play to his ego of being some big savior like he's done in the past.

Because they sure weren't nearly dark enough for Taker.

Originally, I had my little heart set on the "she" in the promos being Katie Vick's ghost and leading to a Kane a reappearance. The bloom's pretty much off that rose. However, with something brewing with Kane's no-show in this match, I'm going to cling to that early thought again for a few minutes. Makes me all tingly.
