brodus who ? :oldrazz:

The Twitter account for John Laurinaitis wrote the following tonight on why once again, Brodus Clay did not make his return to RAW:

"And to those wondering why Brodus didn't debut tonight, I have my reasons. He will debut next week, I promise. Why would I lie? #Raw"

Laurinaitis also wrote about his arm after the CM Punk angle and Chris Jericho's return:

"My staff and I aren't pleased, for those of you who follow this and want the real scoop. We hope to have answers from @IAmJericho soon."

"I know everyone watching #WWE #RAW is asking the same question right now. The answer is, Yes, I think my arm will be ok-Thank u 4 ur concern"

Brodus and Tamina would be excellent additions to Vickie's stable.

Wa-what? Did Kane chokeslam Ryder to hell.? I come back in and there's a fiery hole in the ring

KK is a spreader of Pink Eye.

She spreads her pink a lot but it ain't her eye.

Unusual by Jericho but clearly an excercise in how easy it is to work marks, he'll use that as the jump off point for his promo next week.

As far as I'm concerned Jericho is a damn genius. Its like you said earlier he was mocking the people and their adoration. Even the over the top jacket seemed like part of the joke. He was playing to the people cheering their "heroes" like fools. Marks.

He went from a babyface return to a heel exit by doing the exact same thing...just a bit too long. Didn't even talk. Can't wait to see how this is followed up. Like others have said I think the girl represents the WWE or the WWE fans.

I actually read that in Laryngitis' voice.

I honestly couldn't tell if that was a heel turn or not for Jericho. Whatever. They botched the return, but Jericho is back. Does anything else matter?

You can tell by the mixed response in here that not everyone dug it, but I think it was the kind of thing that makes Jericho a great, he tried something different, something a bit risky, maybe not to entirely successful results but it's why he's not the "Insult local sports team" type of cookie cutter heel.

I dug the the end of Raw.
The fiery pit was excellent and it looks like Kane brought back his powers.

I see Jericho's return as something that left people scratching their heads this week...but when we get the full scope of his new character, it'll be genius. He clearly intentionally turned the crowd against him.

Its too soon to say he screwed up because we really don't even know for sure what he's doing. But he's damn sure got people talking. His return initially reminded me of his last comeback a few years ago. he even walked up the ramp and pointed out to the people on the side of the stage in a similar way.

It wasn't your typical return tonight. He said he was going to do something different so my interest is piqued. Its like he wanted people to turn on him.

Jericho was clearly speechless after his return got spoiled by some fan with a cellphone.

THQ's servers are down once again. I have to say that may be the biggest thing that bothers me about WWE'12, that I can never download or upload a damn thing. Hopefully it'll get fixed by WWE'13.

Didn't the videos say something about the world ending? The play off of all the 2012 end of the world sillyness wasn't lost on me. The act seemed so fake, the smile so plastered on...like a mockery of his Y2J persona as well. And we think about how fans lap up these kind of returns...like the Rocks.

He may as well have held up a sign that said "cheer me you stupid monkeys." Depending on how this plays out it could really be amazing.

Just saw the Jericho segment.

In my opinion it was BRILLIANT. I know it wasn't what most people were expecting but thats why I love it so much.

Sure we knew he was coming back but like that? No way. I love it and I'm coming back for more.

The way I interpreted it, it's like he was putting his Lionheart persona to death. The face that would pose with the crowd and slap the fans hands, he's dead and not coming back.

Tonight was Jericho playing a trick on all of us and I loved it. And that last smile was really creepy! Like psychopathic homicidal maniac creepy.

Jericho clearly wanted the crowd to turn on him , :lmao:. That was a bit interesting but not what I expected. So glad he's back.

Some Guy said:
I love how everybody is sh**ting on Jericho's return. If anything, it was fu**ing brilliant! He knew he was going to get cheered and overplayed to the crowd on purpose to get them to turn on him so he could remain a heel. Next week, he'll be back to calling us hypocrites, parasites, and gelatinous tapeworms.

Makes sense now. :awesome:

exactly he can say i did'nt even say a word and you sheep went from cheering to booing me within 5 minutes

Never thought I'd type these words:

I agree with Metallo.

Jericho's return was brilliant. He owned the entire crowd without so much as a word. Jericho was nothing short of a puppeteer and the crowd were his toys. He got them all worked and hyped up, and then yanked the rug out from under them. All in one fell swoop.

That's why Chris Jericho is one of my top 3 all time. Jericho has the character portion down, with a perfect blend of over the topness and subtlety.

the return certainly isn't what I expected, but honestly, I think it was better. I am so pumped up now.

That's the key, he has people talking, he has everyone wondering and theorizing on what exactly he was doing out there, it was brilliant wrestling psychology and if we know Jericho he'll have already thought several promos down the line, this was merely lighting the touch paper.

I think was also partly a shot at Punk's MSG celebrations and all that stuff him, Bryan and Ryder did with the crowd a couple of weeks ago.

Sometimes I wonder if we're watching the same things.

Jericho screwed over the fans and it was awesome
