Much like Foley, Booker, and Nash I think for some reason they'll sign RVD just to have him. Then not doa whole lot with him. He'll enjoy the light schedule but probably not his status on the card.

He can still put on a good match but these days he highly overrates himself. Evne when given god opponents in TNA he hasn't impressed me much and I didn't think he deserved the title so soon. TNA never should have given it to him like that. Their fault for agreeing to it though.

RVD better be prepared to go back only for the money because if he's going back to be used better he's living in a pot induced fantasy world. Nash has crashed and burned for most of his run, Foley seems like an afterthought and Booker is in a supporting role at best. Only reason Nash even has the spot he has is because he's HHH's buddy.

I think WWE would love to have another veteran just in case since they are so low on estableshed stars and are in the process of building some up. best thing they can do is use RVD to put over Ziggler and others.

Here's a backstage vid of Jericho after his return:

Loved the jacket light up too. Its like that smile was welded on.

you know with the exception of finaly(obvious reasons) and gail i couldn't give a flying **** about any of the people released last year

It was hilarious. But I guess it was made for people who chose to leave and got canned. :whatever:

Lucky Cannon can always go into his true calling of porn. And take Maryse with him.

Gail's gone but in a better place (for women anyway) so the only ones I'll really miss are Morrison and Melina.

They can't be stupid enough to not hire Finlay back.

THQ announces that the so called "make good" DLC for WWE 12 could be a free download of The Rock.

We're going about this all wrong. Jericho did speak last night. I think almost everyone heard him say, "COMMEEE ONNN BAY-BAAAYYYYY!!!". :cwink: :D

Ahh...the ridiculous WWE comic. Is that broad Kelly Kelly or is it the other blond next to her. Much like some of WWE's actual divas at times the drawings look so cookie cutter.

I'd rather hope that the make good DLC is Chris Jericho.

As for the RVD back to WWE rumors......he'd be a decent fit on Smackdown.

I think that would probably suit him just fine actually. He commented after leaving the WWE back in 2006 (I believe) that he hated travelling so much. He even commented about Vince being one of the biggest ego's you'd ever meet, so I think he's given up on the possibility of Vince listening to his ideas, or doing anything other than what he wants to do with him.

if there's one person on the TNA roster I'd like to see in WWE, it would be AJ.

sadly, though, WWE would probably underutilize him and job him out.......:(

The only guys I can see WWE bringing in and pushing are:

Jeff Hardy
RVD
Matt Morgan

Has he ever graced the cover of high times? That wouldn't surprise me

I don't think so, but I do recall him being interviewed by them after Michael Phelps got busted with his stash.

I still dont see how Lay-Cool was a rip off of The Beautiful People.

A "mean girls" stable is way too general an archetype for me to really consider one original, and one a knockoff. Even if WWE was inspired by it, its not like Beautiful People was some original concept. Its been around in women's wrestling as far back as I can remember.

All of that was intentional. Jerichos too smart to not know exactly what he was doing and exactly what would happen. He was soaking in the adulation but it was plainly obvious he was exaggerating. he hasn't been gone THAT long. His recent hiatus wasn't nearly as long as his first one. But he played it up more last night than he did when he returned the first time to "Save Us" from Orton.

He knew that if he did the overeager act too long and didn't say anything that people would sour on it. What it means is the fascinating part.

People will cheer a returning star huge on that initial appearance but slowly the excitement fades. Its so predictable. I think Jericho knows that. Are they cheering the man or the return? How programmed is that audience?

He proved last time that he could play a crowd like a fiddle at this stage in his career and I think he proved it again last night.

If Jericho and Punk do feud it offers Punk something he hasn't had.. a villain on his level. Thats one thing thats slowed Punks momentum.
It's Jericho's Moriarty to Punk's Holmes.

I would throw up if WWE brought in Morgan, he is awful. I liked Jeff hardy as a heel in TNA, bring him into the WWE and he can resume his feud with Punk, only this time with Punk as the face and Hardy s the heel. It would add a whole new dynamic to a long established feud it would make it seem new.

I'd also like to see Samoa Joe come in to the WWE and form a stable with The Usos.

What are the chances of Jeff Hardy returning. He's cited personal issues with their creative but that might of been drunken rambling

WWE has been doing female stables longer than TNA has even been a company (Ladies In Pink/Vinces Devils, P.M.S, Chyna and The Kat) but I think The Beautiful People and Laycool drew so much comparisons to eachother was because they were both centered around vanity, the women in both stables thought they were "flawless"

Oh I forgot Angle.

WWE would most likely do nothing with AJ, Roode, Storm, and Joe.

WWE has had womens groups before (PMS, Vinces Devils) but there were too many similarities for it to be a coincidence with Laycool and TBP. And McCool admitted she's taken ideas from TNA before. Her Faithbreaker is the Styles Clash. She even said so.

As for LayCool/TBP: specifically both are duos while other groups have had different numbers. PMS was a trio. Both would act and dress specifically like a kind of sorority. TPB had their sorority inspired gear and so did LayCool. Never saw that from any other womens group. Both would use sophomoric phrases. Women have made fun of other women before...but not quite the same way. Lots of things. The cattiness, making fun of other girls for their looks. Pranks. Bags over the head, makeovers, etc. The tandem entrances.

The devil is in the details.

Oh I forgot Angle.

WWE would most likely do nothing with AJ, Roode, Storm, and Joe.

Of all the people who never wrestled for WWE long term if I were WWE I would probably pick up Roode, Storm, AJ, The MCMG, Love and Sky, Sarita, and maybe Morgan.

And I'd bring back Angle, Hardy, and at least try to get Sting for a one off.

I don't believe Vince or HHH could get past Joe's look..especially with the recent reports on HHH's views on Foley.

The Divas need someone to make the piss poor ones look good and thats where Sarita comes in. And they need someone to face The Divas of Doom. Love can work and Sky fits the typical diva profile. Of course they'd probably use them to put over their own top diva Kelly Kelly just to make a point.

I think Roode stands a good change of making it but he and Storm aren't gettign any younger and they'd probably have to start closer to the bottom than the top.

I could see AJ getting jobbed out to a monster.

The tag Division needs bodies and MCMG are one of the best today. Even if they aren't the stars they'll be used to work with WWE's top tag team.

I dont know. I still dont see Lay-Cool being a rip off of TBP. That's not a commentary on the quality or originality of either. But I dont think that saying "duo" and "catty" is enough for it to be a rip off. Its women's wrestling factions 101.

Even Beth and Natalya is a form of catty, with their whole "jealous of the Barbie doll girls and bullying them for their image" bit. Its just reversed roles. Bella's are a catty duo. They all are, except for Kelly Kelly and Eve, just because they dont even talk and are just eye candy.

MCMG and Beer Money could be great in WWE if they decide to make the tag division important again. I think Roode could be a singles star if he wins Vince over, but Vince is not big on southern characters like Storm. It's why he craps on JR so much.

Vince must be ashamed of his ties to North Carolina
