All this TNA talk makes me wish it was Thursday night lol,I've been loving TNA in the last few months and before that it was like"meh"for a long time!!

Aries's character IMO is a perfect tweener(Punk is close to being like AA But WWE needs to support him more),Other faces are characters yet they feel real&actual wrestlers than over the top goodie too shoes&just entertainers!!

Even a top face like Angle has been saying"IF I have to hurt someone to get a title shot at BFG then I'm going to do it",Heels like Bully Ray is not really a pu*** bully and he even makes street fights&stuff for his matches than backing away from everything and says"I'm going to hurt people cause I will be the next TNA world champion"and he actually does go out and fights/wrestle!!

You know what I like about them? none of them are telling horrible jokes, and they all have their own voice and like you say, they are at odds with each other as per above, they ALL want the World title. That's a good point, TNA does need another top heel though I agree, I'm just not sure who they could turn that would work and I don't see Daniels or Kaz main eventing as singles stars. Magnus can become a top heel but he has a ways to go.

That's what happens when you do not script your wrestlers and just give them bullet points and freedom on the mic. They stand out.

I'm shocked they haven't done more with Magnus. I for sure thought he was going to get a push out of the BFG series and not Joe. He'd make a good top heel down the road. He still needs some seasoning, but he has become quite good. I wouldn't mind seeing what RVD has a heel. That could be interesting. He's stale as can be and needs something to give his character some juice.

Revealing them at BFG during the title match is so similar to how TNA unveiled "They" at BFG 2010. I agree they need to clear Storm prior so sole focus is on Storm vs Roode for the title, maybe have three Aces & 8's members vs Sting, AJ and Aries in a tag match at BFG where the main man behind it is revealed? My one concern is that BFG will become more about the shock value of Aces & 8's being tied into the main event than it is about Storm's moment.

That's not a bad idea to have Sting, AJ, and Aries take on the Aces & 8s. It might be a waste of AJ and Aries though. I think they would be better serve in a singles match somewhere so we can get some great wrestling on the card. Hardy and Angle might be better served to be in that match to give it some star power.

I want to see this moment in front of bigger and fresh audience in Arizona.

I agree but I'm cautious as while I think that match happens I get the feeling the outcome will be tied into Aces & 8's, especially since the liklehood of Roode having a one month reign just to drop the belt again seems.........unlikely.

I'm betting they are willing to sacrifice Roode's reign in order to have the babyface win to close the show. Hogan axed Roode's win at BFG last year and TNA received major heat for it. I believe they'll follow through this year to give back to the fans. Plus, it would mess up the story they laid out at Lockdown, not to mention the last time a face won in the main event was 2009. It is due time

I am a big fan of AJ but to me if they want to cement Aries as a top guy and have him main event BFG, then he has to win and should keep the belt into 2013 to give his reign some substance.

I see your point. I am biased since I'm a huge AJ mark and felt he got hosed during is title run by the Hogan regime when they signed.

The idea of Bobby Roode regaining the World title at No Surrender just so he can drop it to James Storm at BFG would devalue the World title that fast. Regardless, even if Roode regains the title and goes up against Storm at BFG, it would still be meaningless due to Austin Aries winning the title back at Destination X.

This was a VERY poor RAW in comparison to what we've gotten the past few weeks on RAW and TNA.


Plus, it just all seemed like they didn't know what they were doing.

I mean. RAW had 10 minutes left when we got to that last segment, which made if feel even more staged.

It would've been one thing if they had saved the Punk/Cena/Show/Bryan match for the main event and THEN had that at the end, but having that as the end was just stupid and nonsensical.


It may seem silly, but I really hate it when the illusion is broken this way.

I'll give Shawn Micheals credit for unleashing the full power of his bald spot (the way Optimus Prime unleashed the power of the Matrix) to show how "badly" Lesnar manhandled him.

I just skimmed through Raw . Nothing makes me want to order Summerslam

I thought RAW was decent.

What are all the matches for Summer Slam? and do they have bands playing at it? Never gotten a ppv for wrestling before. Considering it.

Oh, and who has all seen the new Undertaker documentary? I just picked it up. Hoping it's good.

They don't usually have bands perform. It's happened mostly with Wrestlemania. I wouldn't expect anything at Summerslam but there might be some minor surprises. Will Punk retain? Will Ziggler cash his MITB? Will Shawn Michaels still be in Triple H's corner? ...etc..

The build for this PPV is weak. Some of the matches will be decent. Triple H is facing Brock Lesnar for the first time and it will most likely be a one shot deal. The rest seems ok.

The Undertaker documentary isn't that exciting. It's entirely about the streak. It has some decent moments where past opponents are interviewed. It's really nothing special because no one goes into depth. It's nice to have all Undertaker's matches on one set though and the streak is worthy of it's own disc.

Obviously you've missed the last few Raws. What have Taker, HHH, and even Lesnar done most of the time what was an outstanding part of show?

How can the younger guys put on a show when they don't even get a chance to be on tv as much? Less recaps of the old timers annd more time for the younger guys to show what they have MIGHT actually help them...*gasp*

Punk and Cena have been booked in a mediocre programs recently but both of them have PROVEN they have what it takes to put on as good or better a masin event than those so called part timers. Punk vs Cena blew Cena vs Rock away with one tenth the buildup.

I find it upsetting to see Christian buried like this, but at the same time, if I put myself in a WWE booker's position, I also wouldn't really know what else to do with him, to be honest.

However, I'd be curious to see how Christian would do in the color commentator role.

He could have been a main event long-term player for WWE if they allowed him to be. It's a shame Vince sees no value in him.

I have no idea how long his current deal last, but I sincerely hope he's made enough money that he can walk away from WWE and go back to TNA where he would be treated like he mattered.

This is exactly the problem. It's not the talent but the people behind the scenes that are creating a mess of things. It's dangerous for wrestlers to think outside the box in today's WWE landscape.
