1TB/month? I don't have a data cap and don't really know what is a lot but that's more than enough for game downloads surely?
depends on the size of the games and how many you download in a month.
Let's assume you go all digital and buy 4 games each around 90-100 GB ( hey, it's Xmas! ). So that would be around 400 GB total, almost half of your monthly 1TB data cap. And that doesn't include other day to day activities, or streaming activities, etc.
If you are a heavy streamer/downloader (especially 4K stuff ), and a gamer, that 1TB data cap might not last long.
now, for my own family, we're not super heavy streamers/downloaders, aside from my gaming activity. Our average seems to be around 200-300 GB per month, but there have been some months where it got closer to 400-500 GB per month.
so, you can see how throwing in a few large 4K files to download can push that data cap close to the 1TB limit.
of course, that's one reason why I can't go all digital. installing a good chunk of the total file size from the disc saves on the data cap usage.
and, again, I think if I limit myself to one or two big file games a month, I should be ok. and that's assuming I'll buy something each month, which I don't always do.
I just have to be more mindful of what I buy and download. but I think that's a good thing cuz it will enforce discipline.......lol.
and that site I linked to the other day that lists the X Enhanced file sizes will help. assuming those sizes are accurate, they weren't as bad as I thought they'd be.
so, I think I can manage - just have to be more careful.
