Cool, that's gonna be one awesome game!

I don't see Batman AK in the store,Do I have to type it in the search?

Doesn't look like it's up on the Xbox's Digital Store yet.

You may finally be getting your wish X Knight

^ yep.

This was one of the criteria I had set.

Hope they don't price it at $500, though.

500? They're not stupid.. IF anything I could see them saying 400.. but.. Part of me can see them phasing out the 500gb model and just having the 1TB for 350.

well, I could see them putting it out at $500 then saying it's "on sale" for $450. just like the standard model is still technically $400 but on sale for $350......lol.

or, I could see them listing at $450 but on sale for $400. And $400 would be an acceptable price point for a basic 1TB model ( with no game, no Kinect, no custom artwork, etc. ).

1TB for $350? I'd be pleasantly surprised if they did that.

I'd imagine they'll phase out the standard 500GB model eventually, but don't you think it would be too soon this year?

The hell...? They aren't going to do that...

You just blew my mind, lol. :p

MS is trying to right the ship. They'll release a 1TB at 350.. Tell you about all that you're getting for the value and then phase out the 500gb models. I really don't see them pricing anything out of the 350 region. Maybe have a Halo 5 1TB for 400.

going to do what?

the 1TB AW console was $500, then put on sale at $450.

I could see them doing that for the standard 1TB model.

though, I think the standard 1TB should be $400 max ( $450 regular price ) since it probably won't include a game or a custom paint job like the AW model.

well, I hope you're right man. 1TB at $350. I'm holding you to it. :oldrazz:

What do you mean what? What I quoted from you...did you even read what you wrote

yes. but I wasn't sure which part you were referring to.

you don't think they will release a standard 1TB model at $500 ( then discount it to $450 )?

Microsoft will host its E3 2015 press conference on Monday, June 15 at 9:30 a.m. PDT, the company announced.
The briefing will provide a look at “everything from in-depth looks at previously-announced games to trailers for our unannounced titles coming in 2015 and beyond.” It will be live streamed on Xbox.com, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows Phone. Spike TV will also air it as “Xbox: Game On” in the U.S. and Canada.
Microsoft teases, “This year, we have an amazing games lineup to share (who knew it’d be so hard to pack all of our exclusive E3 premieres into an hour and a half?), so we’re saving a lot of exciting reveals for gamescom in August.”
Following their press conference, Microsoft will host a one hour-long “Xbox Daily: Live @ E3″ show on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. PDT each day. It will cover everything from “breaking news, exclusive announcements, trailer reveals, game demos, and interviews with game creators.” Xbox Live’s Major Nelson (Larry Hryb) and Acey Bongos (Graeme Boyd) will host, and will feature guest stars and industry figures like Xbox boss Phil Spencer and guests from 343 Industries, Turn 10 Studios, Crystal Dynamics, and others.
Finally, Microsoft is offering 500 lucky fans the chance to win a ticket to E3 2015. Tickets will include:

  • Entry into the Xbox E3 2015 Briefing at 9:30 a.m. PDT on Monday, June 15, at the Galen Center in downtown Los Angeles.
  • Invite to the exclusive Xbox FanFest Party on Monday afternoon, June 15, where fans will get to play the best exclusives and biggest blockbuster games this holiday and beyond.
  • VIP access to the Xbox esports Celebrity Challenge and Twitch Party sponsored by Xbox.
  • Meet-and-greet with some of the industry’s top developers, leaders and influencers.
  • Even more surprise events during the week.
More details are available at the Xbox E3 portal.

yes. but I wasn't sure which part you were referring to.

Okay, well, you edited that after I replied I think, but I meant either of those. The hell, what in the world are you talking about?

I mean, are you saying that they'll price it at $500 initially and then mark it down on sale for $450 later and have that eventually be the new price? That kind of makes sense, I guess, I could possibly see that. But the way you worded it made it seem like they're going to release it with a MSRP of $500 but have it instantly on sale for $450, which...yeah, they aren't going to do that. They'll just release it for $450.

well, I'm basing that on the fact that the current 500GB model is still "technically" $400. Then retailers put it "on sale" at $350.

Gamestop seems to be the exception. They just list it at $350.

But go to Best Buy, Amazon, Target, or even the official Microsoft store. They still say the regular price is $400 and now it's $50 off.

MS still technically has not officially cut the price of the X1 down to $350. It's just been "on sale" for an indefinite period of time.......lol.

When they announced the Halo MCC bundle a few months ago, they did list the MSRP price at $400 but immediately put it on sale at $350.

so that's why I was saying they could do something similar with a standard 1TB model, since that's the pricing practice they are following now.

I didn't make up the complicated pricing model.........ask MS about that......lol.

Or, once they announce the 1TB model, then they will officially cut the price of the 500 GB model to $350 and price the 1TB model at $400 or $450 or whatever.

Yeah, but the current 500GB w/o Kinect was $400 for a period of time. They didn't release it at $400 and then instantly cut it to $350, like you seem to be implying. The cut came after a little while. I don't really know about the MCC bundle, but since it's not really a special bundle (as in it just comes with a standard black Xbone) I wouldn't put a lot of stock into that.

I get what you're saying.

MS could make this easier by just cutting the price officially. for all intents and purposes, the standard X1 is $350. there's no way they can go back to the $400 price now.

That's why I think $400 for a 1TB model would be the sweet spot. It lets MS go back to that price point, while offering more value to customers and twice the storage space compared to the PS4 at the same price.

So for the same price, you'd be getting "more" than the PS4.

If they really want to get aggressive, then price the 1TB model at $350 like Benstamania's been suggesting.

I think a $450 or $500 price would be just too expensive.

but I guess we'll find out soon enough, assuming this rumor is true of course.

How about a 10TB at $200 with all exclusive games free, and before Xmas! You'd still be umming and aahing. ;)

I'd find something wrong with that deal. :o

you can count on it. :cwink:

anyways, MS says they'll have their strongest lineup of games at E3.

I'm eager to see what they show, in addition to seeing Windows 10 in action on the X1.

I think E3 would be a good time to show off the new interface, assuming Windows 10 will bring a revamped UI to the X1.
