Pretty sure it's any boxed retail title, so yes, that includes Arkham Knight.
including batman arkham knight. so same spiel as when destiny was released.

and i'm sure mS will do it again come blops 3 & star wars releases.Destiny was aligned with the PS4 and there was a limited edition White Destiny PS4.
Batman: AK is also aligned with the PS4 and there is a limited edition Batman PS4.
both release weeks were the weeks where MS offered the Buy a Console Get A Game Free deal.
hmmmm........

exclusive dlc, I thinkAre there BLOPS and Star Wars PS4 bundles?
neither is, but it's exclusive playstation stuff to a multiplatform title. in order to entice the owners of the system that doesn't sport the dlc, mS can make the free like they're doing and did with the competition's bundlesBLOPS is timed exclusive maps like the Xbox versions did last gen. Don't know about Stars Wars, though. Not sure how that's equated to a bundle, though?
but it seems like MS runs this deal when a limited edition PS4 console/bundle is released.
because the dlc gives console owners more incentive to get the game on that console. to combat that incentive the competition could offer the game free with buying the other console.Yeah, exactly. I don't know why one would expect the same treatment for timed DLC?
isn't there a bundle with both of those games coming?I don't know, maybe, but I don't think they'll do that. Especially around that same time they'll have Halo 5 and Tomb Raider, neither of which they'll want to give away for free probably.

I know, but I can still see mS doing it.console exclusive dlc isn't the same level as a limited edition console/bundle.
well I mean you said they probably won't give away the games for free, I think they will.I think there's a rumored one for Halo 5, but I don't know what matters to what I said?

I guess we'll see. since it seems sony has the marketing rights for those games I don't know what other kind of promotion they'd pull off.they might run some other kind of promotion, but I don't know about the Free Game deal.

I dunno man. For every major xbone bundle they've been giving away the games for free. titanfall, halo, asscreed, I can see them making these free as well.I doubt either of those potential bundles will give the game away free anyway. They'll probably be hiked up $20-30 in price.

titanfall was free. it was $500 with the kinect. I remember the ads saying "buy xbone: get titanfall." I thought you were originally saying mS wasn't doing itTitanfall wasn't free was it? I thought it and the COD bundle was hiked a bit. But either way, it doesn't really matter to what I was saying originally anyway, wasn't talking about giving it away in bundles.
Also, don't think a lot of people are following the thread, so I'll post this here: if you pre-order Rare Replay on the Microsoft Store, you get a $10 Xbox card after release.
