No, the games themselves don't expire. I think the codes do, though, so you might want to check and see if all of those cards lying around have.

wait!! the codes on the Live money cards and the Gold subscription cards expire?? :csad:

I'll have to double check then.

I believe they do. I can't say 100% for sure, though, so yeah, you might want to check.

can you take advantage of that sale and buy digital games like Ori from the Xbox.com site?

or can you only buy from a console?
Yeah. I buy nearly everything I get for 360 or X1 on xbox.com and set it to my download queue so it starts automatically when I turn my console on.

ah, thanks. good to know.

Well the 360 BC is pretty awesome. Just saying. Can't wait until it expands to include RDR.

I'm hoping Skyim makes it on the initial list of BC games, as well as the Mass Effect Trilogy. Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter x Tekken would be nice to make up for the lack of SF V.

I'd also like the Beenox Spider-Man games as well as Soul Calibur V.

I do wonder if only the original "vanilla" game discs will work, or if the Legendary/GOTY edition discs that include the DLC will also work.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is on sale at the Microsoft store, brand new, for only $14.99 on Xbox One right now, free shipping. Had a choice between getting that or Metro for $20 on Amazon a while back and chose Metro (Wolfenstein with back up to $40 the next day). Glad I chose Metro now. You can also pre-order the physical copy of The Old Blood for One and get $10 digital Xbox credit, making it essentially only $10. I'm going to see if I like TNO and then maybe pre-order that since I still have until the 21st.

Then I'm gonna say ROTTR won't be on PS4 then either. Trust me, I'm not in denial about SFV.. I haven't enjoyed a single game in the series since SFIIT.

They can say SFV won't be on the XB1.. That's fine. Whenever the next edition hits.. I'm convinced it will be. If not, no real big loss for me. I'm not buying it either way.
I dunno man, if you look at what capcom have said about sf5's exclusivity, they're pretty firm about it. on the flipside if you look at what mS has said regarding rotr's exclusivity, it's much more beat around the bushy.

Anyone know if/how to fix a broken right thumbstick on a XB1 controller? Mine stopped working last night and I was told today it was 2 months outside warranty.

You'll have yo get a new one. My left one broke about a year ago. Luckily, it was still in warranty and I had an extra.

The sticks on these are flimsy compared to the original and 360.

That's a good price for Wolfenstein which I definitely want to play. Wonder how much it will be to UK guys.

I've been thinking about getting an Xbox, but I'm not big on Halo or their other IP's (ie Forza and Fable). I mean Tomb Raider looks cool, the classic cartoon inspired cup person game and I like the access to the old Rareware library via Virtual Console (I'm calling it that). Is their any benefits to get one over sticking with PC gaming?

The X1 and Windows 10 are supposed to be interlinked so you can play the same game on both and pick up where you left off on the other device (also supposed to include Windows Phone and Surface). Plus there is supposed to be crossbuy (buy game once own it for all systems) and crossplay. In case any of that is of interest. Do you have any console at the moment?

None from current gen. My gaming days are not as they once were, and were also heavily based on Nintendo's IPs. I've debated on getting a WiiU and/or 3DS though. I haven't had an Xbox since the original and remember not liking it so much since it lacked a broad library of games. There were a few faves though. (Jet Set Radio, Simpsons Hit and Run, Sonic Heroes, and Harry Potter) As I said before, I don't game as much as I used to.

So Ori only ended up being discounted to $15. Hm, I may still pick it up, I don't know. I was hoping for $10 (I thought the whole sale was 40-50% off, guess it was only up to or some bull). Unless you're digital-only, I would not recommend the Wolfenstein bundle. You can get TNO for $15 brand new on the Microsoft Store, and TOD pre-ordered there will net you $10 Xbox credit, both with free shipping, too. I may get Sleeping Dogs at $15. Toyed with getting that for awhile, not a big open world fan, but the combat seems pretty cool.

"The Summer" is all we know, so no timeline is known yet.

I was looking to get Ori, but for only $5 off, I think I can hold off. I'm sure that game will come down more than that later down the line, and I don't have a lot of time for it, anyways.

I'll give a shout out to White Night, too. Good kind of, sort of old school horror game. It's a bit on the short side, so $7.50 for it is a really solid price.

True, the library for 360 (and PS3) was awesome though so you'd probably appreciate the backward compatibility. Although you could just get a 360 for that too.

What titles would be good? I don't like FPSs too much, so Halo, CoD (I liked it for a while), and Modern Warfare are not for me.

Is there an easier and faster way to see how much you have in your online wallet? I forget often and so I have to select something and press stuff like if I'm going to buy it
