We don't know yet how big a part Rhino will play. I really doubt they hired Giamatti to have him not be in most of the movie. I think they are going to up the stakes and have two main villains. We know Foxx thinks he is Spider-Man's cop buddy so I would either bet Foxx doesn't become Electro until the second half of the movie or Foxx is Electro and tries to help Spider-Man stop Rhino in the first or second act and then becomes evil for the finale.

IMO Sandman was worse than Venom in the movie

Sandman is a B grade villian,he shouldnt have been in the movie

To be fair, Electro is a B grade villain as well but yet people are loving the idea of Electro being the main villain and then Rhino, who's yet another B grade villain.

You can't really say for sure that if Venom got cut and Sandman got more time it would've been any better. Now that I think of it, there still would've been 3 villains, Harry, Vulture and Sandman.

Spider-Man 3 doesn't only suffer from how badly it's done, but how it was built up. A story with Harry as the exclusive villain + the black costume could've been the bomb, but to only get Harry/"new goblin" again would be boring to the general audience. Harry had to be there though, due to the build up

Three villains is better than four when you count the symbiote as its own entity throughout most of the flick. Sandman and Vulture having a more united storyline and then Harry's storyline would've been just fine, imo.

The film being told without the symbiote and Venom would've been ten times better. I trust Sam Raimi when he said he wanted to really give the fans something special before the inclusion of Venom.

Cut the symbiote out of SM3 and the movie is just better in general. More Sandman, less cocky Spider-Man, less Gwen Stacy, and less James Franco on a snowboard.

idk if this is something or not... but, there seems to be a un-naurally bring blue light coming from under that building...

... I know its a bit of a stretch, an I normally wouldn't think anything of it, but, combine that with the knowledge that there's an easter egg in the scene, with the fact that electro is the next villain, and there might just be something to it...
