The Dark Knight Things you noticed the second time

Look at the reflection of the white wall thingy as well. That has a blue tint to it too. It's just the tint of the glass.
That's right, the glass in the doors has a slight tint.

It's just the reflection of Heath in the nurse outfit going away from the building. Nothing sinister, no ghosts in the building or anything. :cwink:

You know how law enforcement uses those rugs with nails to stop speeding criminals in cars? Why didn't they use those to stop the Joker during the trip to county?

It takes a while to set those "rugs" up. They're not standard issue in cop cars. That's why you only see them on highways, when cops know the chase is only going in one direction (along the highway) and they have several miles of advance notice.

Or why didn't batman just shoot the tires on the truck?

When they were on the lower level streets, I think the truck was in a different lane than the batmobile (concrete dividers like on a highway were in between the lanes).

Also, shooting tires with explosives (like the Batpod has) is dangerous - if the gas tank is hit, the truck will blow and likely kill everyone inside of it. This is another reason why Batman wouldn't have just shot the tires (even on the higher streets, with the Batpod).

Who is this guy? He's there in one frame and then gone the next.

Now I can't see a camera in his hand or anything so I can't figure out why he is there.

Oh and through the eye holes in the jokers mask at the bank robbery you can see he's not wearing makeup before the scene with the bank manger.

It's the ghost from Three Men and a Baby.

It must be a reflection of Heath, or the camera car. They didn't have a cameraman for that shot - they used the IMAX camera on a Levhead attached to a car. (Actually, most of the IMAX shots were taken the same way. Only a few shots were taken via Steadicam, and only one was done handheld.)

In the Blu-Ray you can see how they did it. The car looks black, but it could have easily been a very dark blue. I was wondering how they did it myself, since the camera goes above the roof of the bus, which would have been impossible if the camera was on a Steadicam. Nobody was outside in the near vicinity except for Heath.

Well, I know at least the cool effect of the truck flipping over wouldn't have happened. :hehe:
The problem is that Joker's truck is chasing the SWAT van. The spike strips are used when the police are chasing after someone who's leading the chase. There wouldn't nearly have been enough time to set down a strip after the SWAT van but before the Slaughter truck. Maybe a good 3 seconds.

Well, I guess they could have used one if they were willing to sacrifice the SWAT van and everyone in it. :oldrazz:

I still cannot believe this thread's still alive..

When Bats told the copycat that he's not wearing hockey pads, the guy looks down at his suit.

Tell me if this one's already posted:

Remember BB's last lines?

Gordon: I never said thank you.
Batman: And you'll never have to.

It was echoed in TDK, though this time Gordon was quick to respond.

Gordon: Thank-you.
Batman: You don't have to-
Gordon: Yes, I do.

I rewatched the Joker crashing Wayne's party and I liked his soft laugh right before he shoots the window out. Just a random thought.

You know what other thing is re directed form Batman Begins and The Dark Knight

between Luices Fox and Bruce Wyane

Fox:don't take me for an idiot

Bruce:Fair enough

The Dark Knight

Fox: I didn't know we had any goverment contracts

Bruce:I'm playing this one close to the chest

Fox: Fair enough

Oh and it took me about three viewings before I noticed that he grunts a couple of times during that scene, when he grabs Rachel and holds her by the window. Little animalistic grunting noises. :oldrazz:

Ew! :funny:

didn't feel like slogging thru 1600 + posts, so forgive me if this is a repeat. I found it amusing how the booze dribbles out the holein the damaged side of Harvey's cheek when he downs a shot of whiskey in the confrontation with Wertz in the bar.

Guess you could say he developed a drinking problem.

I know, lame joke.

I'm new to this topic so sorry if this is a repeat but I've always found it funny that Bruce says to Fox, "I'm playing this pretty close to the chest." and then later; Dent says to Gordon, "you do like to play things pretty close to the chest."
Was there a screw up in the writing?

If there were no clouds in the gotham night sky would the bat-signal still be able to serve its purpose?

lol
