And to great effect.

This sounds like how they cut a lot of strong stuff from Thor. I hope Taylor wins this. He is the creative after all. You just know the first things that will be cut will be The Warriors Three and Sif.

Zod I hope so. I really, really do. When I heard they changed an action scene because she couldn't be there, it broke my heart. I am hoping their original intentions with Sif do not go by the wayside because of what happened and that she is all over this film.

Plus, on both accounts, they are still filming.

The Thor 2 cast just recently started a round of reshoots, which, they may still be doing and couldn't be pulled away from.

I might've missed the end of this discussion, but the IGN interview with Feige pretty much confirms that Thor gets his hand cut off by Loki. The interviewer asked him how Loki can have a path of redemption after he did it. Crazy.
