But BT, haven't you read the script? That's much more a spoiler. This clip was great at showing how they convey tone, the music score was epic, and also it was the best example i've seen of Thors personality. He rages pretty hardcore.

"Hammerrrrrrrrrrr!!!"

I've just taken to accosting people I know with "You there, what realm is this?!?"

Nope I haven't read the script, I just asked Vartha a few questions about it. Besides, there's a big difference in reading a script and seeing actual footage from the film.

I'm glad to hear such good things about the clip, it makes me even more excited to see it.

Well the details you've been told are more spoilery than this clip, it's just good for seeing how Hemsworth plays it, but I can dig it if you want to save it for the actual film.

Yeah they probably are, but I do want the footage to be somewhat fresh when I see the film (made that mistake with TIH).

I did that with X-Men 3, but I think that movie was already going to be ruined for me anyway.

However, when I did it with IM 2, I still loved the hell out of that movie :P

The new posters look awesome. I don't know how long they've been out, but I just saw them.
....where the heck have you been Corpy? lol
You missed TV spots too. High Voltage made some quick time versions.

I just hope they don´t overuse the Kat Dennings comic relief character, in small doses it´s okay, but too much of it can screw up the tone of the movie.

In Australia, we get the premiere Thursday, 21st April.
Saw this huge billboard driving into the city of Sydney yesterday:

I'm looking forward to the scene where she juggles midget clowns set to Yakety Sax.

tango, put some damned spoiler tags around that! :oldrazz:

I couldn't help myself, I had to watch the clip.

Hemsworth is going to own the role. "You there, what realm is this?" such badassery.

LOL I think I'm going to love Kat Dennings even more after this.

Hey EditNinjam where abouts in town is that? I've yet to see a Thor poster. Is that near the Orpheum?

Also, as much as I love that clip, why does he call 'hammer, hammer' rather than Mjolnir?

Thank you for providing with me with my first genuine LOL of the day :woot:

Speaking of TV spots, has anyone been able to find a clear version of the "the world is full of heroes" spot? would love to see that properly :yay:

I thought the scene was terrible really.

My problem isnt with anything Thor, but Kats character.

Everything that comes out of Kat Dennings mouth in every clip Ive seen of her is annoying and stupid. Is this character necessary for anything besides bad attempts at comedy?

On AICN theyre already joking about her being Jar Jar, and from what Ive seen, that sounds about right to me. Just my opinion from what Ive seen, will have to wait until the movie comes out, but it would be a shame to have a stupid ueseless character ruin scenes that would otherwise be fine.

Theres still time, Id LOVE if some of her oneliners were edited out - theyre dumb and distracting, and nothing, it seems would be missed.

Kenneth Branagh and the screenwriters decide to put Kat Dennings' character in this movie solely to annoy AICN talkbackers. Personally, I applaud them for it.

One thing I loved about the clip is how imposing Thor was even though he was out of his armor, etc. That's a great sign of things to come, if you ask me.

Gotta agree! Everything about him oozes "intimidation" his voice his big strides and movement. And like u said this is minus armor and weapon.

TIH and even IM2 taught me to stay away from clips. I so regret watching all the clips for TIH and also watching the clip with the suitcase armour in IM2. I almost didnt watch this Thor clip but the temptation was too strong. So at first I watched it with no sound, then when I convinced myself that seeing this scene now would not ruin much for me I decide to watchit with sound.

I am gonna try my hardest to stay away from any other clips. Especially Action clips. I rather see all the action when i see the movie

That being said. This clip, I liked it! NO OTHER!

maybe a lack of respect. maybe it's not named yet. maybe it's easier to perform that scene saying hammer.
