I guess it might be okay as its own thing, but I went in expecting an adaptation of Son of Asgard, which it fails spectacularly at. Although, even as its own thing, it's really, really not Thor. I can't get behind a Thor adaptation where the Warriors Three are lying shams and Thor himself is totally incompetent.

I didn't think it was horrible, but it was a bit slow. I guess it can fall under the "Next Avengers" category, they pretty much did their own thing with it.

Wow Storms were outrageous tonight! Thor really knows how to entertain! :D

Heh yeah I'll admit the Warriors III came off as a bunch of partiers.

Saw Thor for the 4th time today. Ive done my part for the box office numbers :woot:

lol WHAT you're gonna stop seeing Thor in the Theater?

Probably yea lol. Ive seen it in 2D twice, 3D, and Imax 3D.

If there was a drive in somewhere around I would give it a shot though :woot:

hahaha Yeah I would too. I still have a soft spot for Drive-Inns.

Interestingly enough, on the week that Thor had first debuted into US Theaters, there was a cray storm going around in Hawaii for that entire week and only stopped on Friday.lol

I saw Pirates 4 last night..... It really made me appreciate Thor :P

SM2 and SM3 are exceptions, not the rule.

Well that means Fantastic Four: ROTSS and X-Men 3 are also exceptions, because X-Men 3 was released 3 years after X-2 and we see how it turned out.

Again BT, flawed logic. Length of time between films has no bearing on the quality whatsoever. It's about script, directors, actors etc. Length of time between Batman Begins and TDK? 3 years. X-Men 3 and Wolverine? 3 years. It means nothing.

Ummm, but that's exactly the point I'm trying to get across.

Ha, I got your argument tipsy turvy, thought you were arguing the other way. My apoligies. What I MEANT to say was SPIDER-FAN was using flawed logic :P

So, Thor is shaping up to beat the worldwide BO of (not accounting inflation) the first two X-Men and XMOW, possibly Last Stand as well, already beat both FF movies and both Hulk movies by a wide margin, also Batman Begins and Superman Returns, just to mention a few. Not bad at all for a character who used to be considered a B-lister by many.

@Ultimatefan, your Sig actually destroys and corrupts my image of Captain America.

Not bad at all, pretty darn good, but I think "B-lister" is being a little generous, more like C-lister

^^^ It's quite hilarious is my opinion. :lmao:

A different view I guess. :D
Disturbing to ME is that new Jello Pudding commercial, "get your pudding smile on"

heh yup tho THIS is what's disturbing
