No, but summer would just make it more likely. JL will do big business regardless and will fight over the same audience. I think Ragnarok will be fine, but certainly preferable if it didn't have to tangle with a (potentially) huge CBM behemoth 2weeks (or so) later.

After MoS, BvS and SS how much goodwill from the audience is still there?
If the word of mouth (and the quality) for JL is the same as for the other DCEU movies so far I really don't think the movie will make much money after the first weekend when those hardcore fans that still have hope left have already seen it

Probably my most anticipated CBM since The Avengers.

I also think that JL may not perform as well as some think it will, especially if it does end up being as much of a mess as BvS and garners the same kind of negative word of mouth. Like R_Hythlodeus says, there are limits as to how much good will people will be willing to give the DCEU at this stage.

Ragnarok by comparison could end up doing the opposite. It will do well whatever, but if it really does end up being as unique, epic and brilliant as it sounds right now, the positive word of mouth could mean that it performs much better than the previous Thor movies and maybe even reach that elusive billion. Fingers crossed!

It certainly would have been nice for Ragnarok if it didn't have to clash at all with Justice League, but such is. Will still have a couple weeks to pretty easily dominate at the box office and get a huge influx. And frankly if it is as good as it looks then it will still bring in plenty even after Justice League hits.

If nothing else it is nice that we get some exciting movies sprinkled through the later part of the year.

This movie has been pretty interesting from the information they've dropped and the scale of what Thor and Hulk are dealing with. It's great that they are really going all out with a Thor movie.

No Hulk goes with him to stop the bad guys. There were set photos of Mark Ruffalo in Asgard.

And we still haven't had a glimpse at the force of nature for this epic movie...

Pretty much all the information i could gather. Enjoy but beware so you wont be spoiled with some of the details. I'll keep on adding more information as i encounter it and also keep it underlined so people can see what was added.

- Hela on the steps with Skurge and in front of a crowd of civilian asgardians.
- Shaved head Skurge with armour and axe.
- Hela with the giant headpiece, green suit and green cape.
- Banner and Hulk are both outside. Banner is laying on the ground.
- Yellow, orange and black striped spaceship on the ground.

EXTRA INFORMATION
- Giant 20 feet wolf. "Fenris Wolf?".
- The Grandmaster "space ship".
- Giant fire demon face fills the entire frame while Hulk flies fists first against it. "Surtur?".
- Quinjet that Hulk used on earth appeared on set.
- Skurge goes on a "journey arc" and ends up in a different place than theone he started. "Skurge's last Stand?"
- Mask used by Taika while on set looking alot like a Celestial. Ziran the Tester.
- Cast includes a character called "Warden". In Marvel comics there is a "Warden" of the "Cube". A super-villain "rehabilitation facility".
- Sam Neill did a few days on set. Undisclosed role.
- Thor with mjolnir facing what looks like Surtur in a rocky planet.
- Thor holding mjolnir with chains around his body and some “spiked” metal frame on his back.
