I was going to say that's a bit dark... for marvel to do a zombie like that... but.... wow.. good photoshopping skills.

this one is not BTS, it is from a convention. a guy in a Thor costume and a guy in a zombie costume

I knew it was fake.
I thought it was really strange because the image didn't really blend with the others that we're released and the protections in the forearm didn't look like nothing we had seen previously. It looked cheap and plastic.

How come there's no trailer for this yet??
Because it's too early. Marvel Studios tends to average around 6 months before release date to drop the first teaser trailer. For Thor: Ragnarok, that time frame we can probably expect to see it mid to late April (right in time for it to be shown in front of GotG vol. 2)

hope your right, would be a nice holiday gift
chill, smoke, and watch the ragnarok trailer on loop for 3 hours lol

Here you can actually see the video footage from Thor Ragnarok that was already show in images over here. Very interesting stuff.

If someone could take screen shots of the whole thing it would be greatly appreciated so everyone could weigh in on what is happening.
In the footage from the arena for example Thor looks like to be summoning lighting without the hammer, in some kind of power up move to go head on against the Hulk... AMAZING stuff!!!

There's much more tidbits to be analyzed.

Wow - that shot of Thor charged up with lightening bolts running at and colliding with Hulk in midair!!!! Looks like he uppercuts the hell out of him too!

I need a GIF avatar of that.

And it looks like right in the end when they are going to collide that something comes to the hand of Thor and straight against Hulk's face. It's gotta be mjolnir somehow.

But... THOR POWERED UP WITH LIGHTNING that is being "fired" out of his body while he is running and jumping to battle the Hulk.

Yup. I literally just edited my previous comment about Thor uppercutting Hulk's face - remember he doesn't have his hammer though. Hela takes that away from him early on.

I also noticed that in the video - that structure behind Thor is attached to his back. Any idea what it could be?

I think it's some king of chaining thing to keep him secured as a prisoner. Like when they used to have a cannonball chained around the legs of the prisoners and in this case seems to be something more refined. Something like this for example but since that probably is in Hel, then it has some horns/spikes to go better with the surroundings. Something more evil looking.

I actually found this, "Thor & Loki - Blood Brothers" that has some kind of stuff that is reminiscent of the imprisoned stuff.

Only because of JL. [...]

I don't think Thor 3 is going to generate the same kind of hype as the sequel to a smash hit like Guardians of the Galaxy or the return of Spider-Man to the MCU, especially given that the previous two films don't have the greatest reputations within the MCU. I'm personally more hyped for Ragnarok than Spider-Man, but it's hard for me to believe that the general audience is.

Accidentally i think i am on to something here. I was searching for Thor imprisoned images so i could post here and i found this animation mini-series(4 episodes) from 2011 called "Thor & Loki - Blood Brothers", i personally never heard of it but by looking a little bit more into it... it seems to have some stuff that will probably end up being in Thor Ragnarok.

You have Thor, Loki, Odin, Hela... and check out the synopsis for the last episode.
Loki speaks to his birth mother Farbauti who promises an army of Frost Giants to assist Loki in the conquest of the nine realms. Loki escorts her away and puts her under house arrest. Loki contemplates his loathing of the Frost Giants and later remembers his camaraderie with Thor. Hela appears and demands the execution of Thor. Loki refuses to put Thor to death and hopes for reconciliation with his brother. Thor, however, escapes with the help of his hammer and used it to defeat Loki.

I really hope that the Team Thor shorts are not indicative of the kind of comedy that the director keeps talking about.

If you watch any of his movies then you will realize what type of comedy he is into. Those "Team Thor" shorts are more of a satire about the hole thing of being a God on Earth and having to deal with mundane situations. Taika Waititi basically his goofing around with Thor while he can on this marketing campaign so he/Marvel can draw attention to the movie.

This shorts are silly because they are supposed to be so. There will also be a lot of humor in Thor Ragnarok but the movie and these shorts are fundamentally different from one another in terms of what type of humor Taika is gonna bring to the table.

You had a taste of it here. In the End-Credit scene from Doctor Strange wich was directed by Taika Waititi.

That doesn't reassure me I'm afraid :csad:

Although I kind of hope that's actually just Loki pretending to be Thor, because the dialogue is just not like Thor at all. He's nothing if not direct and to the point.
