oh thanks! From the man himself. The runtime was the only blip in the amazing hype for this film and with that banana skin avoided there is nothing stopping this from being the true epic we've been waiting for from a thor film, and delivering on everything we've seen in the 2 great trailers.

bring it the f on!

I'm all for shorter run time if it means tighter storytelling and action sequences that don't just ever seem to end.

I'm happy with the reported run time. While I was open to a shorter film if that was what Waititi decided upon, as I'm interested in his vision, I still hoped it would be a bit longer. Now it's in the area where I expected it to be before we heard anything (I guessed in the 2 to 2:20 range).

Another sweet poster. Very reggae looking in terms of coloring. I like it.:woot:

Don't know if it was posted before, but new latin-american poster:

Taika On Twitter.
Related to the epic cinematography of the "Hela vs Valkyries" battle.
And it was shot with a lighting system invented by my mates from highschool, Carlo & Stu. You know Stu. Everyone knows Stu. #shadows @stuetr

Related to the runtime. Well there you have it folks...
I was already 1000% in for this movie no matter what. Opening weekend I'll be there. :)

Yep, the runtime is definitely confirmed folks. Someone asked the AMC Cinema Guest Services twitter account where they got the runtime from (they're also showing 2 hours 10 mins) and they confirmed they got it directly from Disney.

Taika is such a troll. :funny:

Also, we have yet another poster, for the Aus/NZ release. Only difference from the previous one posted is that Hela is helmeted in this one whereas she wasn't in the other... weird. :oldrazz:

I really hope this is true.

Is is true, AMC got their information directly from Disney. And Taika has also confirmed it, in his own uniquely trollish way of course. :woot:

That is all anyone could ask for with a cast as great as these actors. :yay:

Any guess for when the tickets go on sale?

Hoping for first week of October, I think Marvel usually does 3-4 weeks in advance. Spider-Man was handled differently at least in my area it was only the week before.

Two hours and ten minutes huh, nice that was one of my only complaints so far. Along with Gorr not being the villain but that's not really a big deal.

Is this the final poster for Ragnarok? Why are the final posters never as creative but just look like the typical generic Photoshop montages? The one with the circles was far more interesting.

Goldblum looks absolutely glorious. On that image in particular he looks like he is some eccentric universal DJ. And the colours in the back looks like a Daft Punk concert.

I wonder will we get a nerf Grandmaster?

2 months before the movie comes out to the world.

1. US/"Europe?" poster
2. Japan
3. "Latin"
4. AU/NZ

The poster with the circles is the US poster, the others released since then are various international posters for different markets.

Oh man, the colours and the pure Kirby goodness in all of those posters are absolutely glorious. :hmr:

These are some of the best posters we've had for CBMs IMO.

The posters are awesome. The last one with the golden triangle shaped thing in the middle and Hela's headdress is pretty striking. Marketing on point for this movie.

The "golden triangle shaped" thing seems to look a lot like the chair in which Thor is brought in to The Grandmaster. You see it on the Teaser Trailer.

I like the 4th poster the best. It's the same as the 3rd of course except for Hela. To me it's the difference between "Cate Blanchett is in this movie" and "Cate Blanchett is playing Hela in this movie." So of course it's good that she's got the helmet in the others as well. Dig it.

Yup, definitely a strong set of posters. Very striking, very bold and I would put one up on my wall!
