So, what would you rate the design of the Abomination? I say 10/10.
7/10

how the hell do you know?... you got a what if machine?
Its a slap in the face to the fans that have read the books for so long, the fans that love the villain as much as the hero, Abom is one of Marvels best IMO. He's like a bad version of the hero, like Venom. Yeah Stan didnt say why he had ears like that or scales but it wouldnt have taken more than 5 mins to explain them. The difference between comic book fans and the general public is that the GP havent heard of Abom, they havent seen him yet. Trust them like Stan trusted the comic book fans. I really dont see why the general public WONT like this

I read the script.
Quick question, the people saying the original design was stupid and couldn't work onscreen, are you regular hulk readers?
I think it's kinda obvious.
Again, this is very good work.
But now he just looks like Swamp Thing.
That one's dead on. All he needed was a few extra lumps and I'm sure they could have explained pointy ears...oh well, I still like the new design and I'll stop whining.Oh wow.
If only...

I'll admit to knowing more of the Bill Bixby TV series than the comics but I've never stated the comic design wouldn't work. I just think they're thinking they'd have a hell of a time trying to explain how a man can look reptilian without having to introduce splicing animal DNA which was prominently featured in Ang Lee's movie causing people to think it's a sequel to that movie and not a stand alone franchise.
I've actually already posted a reason for a reptilian Abomination that not only distances itself from Ang Lee's movie but also follows the rationale that brought us the design we have now.I'll admit to knowing more of the Bill Bixby TV series than the comics but I've never stated the comic design wouldn't work. Did you just blue yourself?^^ prefix your avy makes me happy

And by your logic, the Hulk should have an exoskeleton which he uses as a weapon, fins along his back, and be completely bald.
We are seriously arguing in circles here. I don't think you have the capacity to consider another point of view, judging by your posts.
I've been a Hulk fan for nearly five years. I don't have a problem with the original design as far as it being in the comics, animated series', & video games is concerned but I still like the redesign a lot more & I think it's much better. Just because a lot of people here like the redesign doesn't mean they aren't true Hulk fans.
Putting workds in my mouth there, I didn't say anything about people not being true hulk fans but are you an Abomination fan? Say they decided to change hulk, give him blonde hair, make him blue, make him 20 foot tall, would you be happy about that? You may like the look but would you still consider him The hulk or just a hulk? See I'm a regualr reader and have grown to really like the abomb character, so them changing everything makes me think of the movie version as a abombination but not The Abombination.
I'm not saying you said anything, if I did I would've said "you" in that post. To answer your question, I am an Abomination fan, I like the design from the original comics but I still find this design to be better. As for the Hulk question, it wouldn't be the Hulk because he'd be blue with blonde hair. However, I think of the Abomination in this movie as THE Abomination and not a Abomination.
Dude, I like the redesign of the A-Bomb more than the original, you don't. There's nothing either of us can do about that as it's our respective opinions. There are going to be a lot of redesigns in this franchise that you may dislike while I like them & I'll still consider them to be the comic book character.

Yeah..that sure looks "goofy", "ridiculous", and "stupid"...doesnt it? (not)
I do like the design but it isn't abomb, if they look nothing alike, having nothing in common, blonsky is totally different, heckThis isn't a matter of liking it or not, it's if it's the same character, which what we get in the movie isn't. Like I've said before I may love what we get in the movie, he might be a great villian but he still isn't the abomination. The movie version doesn't even talk, doesn't show us he's still got the mind of blonsky, just a raging monster
