Have you seen the legendary "blue eyes=tesseract controlled Loki! ( as for not responsible for anything during Avengers)" theory that was hugely popular on tumblr? They searcher for clues, like only hit on the head can remove the control (BW and Hawkeye) so when Hulk was beating him like a rag doll he really helped him and his eyes (with photoshop help, sure) turned green again! It was funny how people take this fan speculation as a true fact.

I do not think that in the movies, aside from Thor character poster, his eyes ever were anything than pale blue-gray natural for TH.

I'd read about that theory but I think more so Loki is predestined to be the one to initiate universal Armageddon and Thanos, knowing this, has been using certain methods to draw out Loki's dark side. Because we all know an apocalyptic universal crisis will bring with it a lot of death.

I hope this movie will bury this theory for good. And many actors refuse or simple not even offered to wear contacts now as with Star Track for example and I am totally agree with this.

My mother recently got a new HD 46 in. TV and I talked her into watching "The Avengers" on Netflix.

She's not a fan of superhero flix by any stretch of the imagination (she's 79, btw), but she laughed like hell at Loki's run in with the Hulk.

Some of the conversation during the movie:

Ma: He looks familiar, where have I seen him before?
Me: He used to be on Wallander (she's a fan).
Ma: Oh, for goodness sakes! He looks so different!

Ma: That weapon didn't kill him? (Phil's bazooka) How did he get out of that cage? How did he do that? (sneaking up on Phil) The Hulk didn't kill him?

And my favorite: Why's he disappearing with that blonde good guy? (with Thor at the end)

Sounds a bit like me during The Avengers. Hadn't seen Thor, and didn't know that he and Loki were brothers. I was asking my husband annoying questions like:

What's the deal with these two? How do they know each other? (first Thor/Loki scene)
Brothers? They don't look alike!
Why do they hate each other?

Needless to say, I rented Thor after seeing The Avengers.

If that was me I'd have tripped all over that chair. I mean this is why Tokyo gets devastated when I'm in town. I just have a hard time stepping over buildings and weaving through skyscrapers. But seriously I inherited my dancing feet from my dad. This is the man who had problems with the YMCA which requires you to not even move your feet.

Oh...ha ha ha! Love the Loki vs. Godzilla idea. That sounds actually like a very fun fanfiction comedy storyline. And Loki thought the Hulk was bad? Godzilla would make Hulk crap his pants.

Scenes: Loki and Godzilla square off in downtown Tokyo at the beginning of the film only for Godzilla to sneeze, accidentally burning Loki to a crisp with his fire breath;

Come now! The writer obviously doesn't know Godzilla well enough. His atomic fire breath of incineration is never accidental!
