Supergirl Tyler Hoechlin IS Superman

My whole desire is that Clark comes across with the same strong charisma that Kara does, along with the huge heart. If they get that right, I'm good with everything else.
Agreed.

Also, I like the suit so much better in the set pics than in the promo image. Which is...unusual, haha.

I would've been perfectly fine with a belt like that :

That belt alteration looks awesome, could you alter it even further with these changes:
- changing those segmented band pieces that go around the side and back of the belt to the same metallic gold as the cape clasps/gold pieces on
the belt
- create a recessed area inside the buckle that is the same metallic gold as the cape clasps
- clasps that are directly on the sides of the S.
- widen the red cape bits connected to the clasp so the blue can't be seen between it and the collar.
- background of the S being the same metallic gold as the rest of the suit add some red cuff piping or hard red and gold cuffs (recolored man of steel cuffs would work)

....how 'bout No

How about YES

Especially since these things can cause more rifts between those making these and us, and fans from those who just want to enjoy what they give us. Also, comments like these are related to fanboys so bad that it gives fans bad names. And why I sometimes disconnect myself from the fanbase.

Honestly, I'm just excited that there's a possibility that I'll enjoy a live action take on my favorite character again. No shade to Cavill or Snyder, but their Superman hasn't done it for me so far. I have high hopes for SG's version.

Such a beautiful suit. Cannot wait to view it in action

Brooks was a total miscast.

He could have played someone else from the Planet that knew Clark/Superman, like Ronald Troupe, and they really wouldn't have had to change his character on Supergirl. He probably wouldn't have a communicator watch though or have the specific relationship with Superman that Jimmy had.

His neck and traps are admittedly smaller than I would like, and I think that's why he looks like a cosplayer in some shots.

In Legends, we saw an older Oliver based on the Dark Knight Returns version.

What if Supergirl does some time traveling in the future with the Legion of Superheroes and we see Tyler as the Kingdom Come Superman?

I can see some people saying he looks like a villain, he has that Mads Mikkelsen-esque bone structure and features that kinda automatically makes him look a bit evil (probably the cheekbones). Manly, handsome features nonetheless, but I can understand those opinions.

Suit looks better and better than in promo shots. His height relative to Olsen doesn't really matter to me personally, I can't wait to see how Supergirl portrays him. I wonder if the CW has the rights to the Williams theme? It'd be cool to see them use it since the DCCU seems to be shying away from that.

I cringed when Smallville finally used the Williams theme, tbh. It's too "big" for TV, imo, because the visuals can't match its scope. I'd rather they just give him a theme in the show that meshes well with Kara's.

They will, they won't use Williams, unless it is something within the music to play homage to his theme, but Blake Neely will do a great job with the music like he always does...

It totally fit with the show though, Smallville was very heavily influenced by the Donnerverse and paid a lot of respect to those films. It was a great decision to put that theme as the cap for that show.

But I do agree that Supergirl should avoid it and they should create their own Superman theme.

It was a nice idea in theory but in execution I thought it was terrible. But to each their own.

Someone said something about Kingdom Come

You're having lots of fun with this.
I'd like to make a request; do the Earth 1 (pre-CoIE) costume, and another for the New Earth costume, with the bigger logo shield.
