imo he doesn't look like superman to me being a good looking white guy with dark hair is not all it takes to look like superman i have said countless times superman is one of the hardest roles to cast

superman has to have the gentle,innocent,pure soul vibe that this guy doesn't give off reeve,routh and henry had that quality but not this guy

They have padded his legs and shoulders. Should have done the same with pecs/arms. It looks much better but the cape attachment is really bad.

Definitely better looking than the promo pic, but I like the cape attachments even less now. If Kara doesn't need them, why does he? It looks much better to be more traditional than this.

He does have a very old-school Superman look about him, like a classic look from the 40s or 50s.

Very simple....her cape is attached to a corset under her suit. Very laborious to get on and off, and very uncomfortable until you get use to it, as she has confessed. I'm not sure that they wanted to go full out on his suit, (cost wise, time wise etc.) considering, as of right now he is in 2 episodes. So, do something that (as far as I'm concerned, and I'm sure many others) looks just fine, that is easier to get in and out of, and cost effective.

Can someone make these photos black and white and post them? I feel that they would look like something out of an old black and white 1950s Superman serial, which would be very classic.

Very simple....her cape is attached to a corset under her suit. Very laborious to get on and off, and very uncomfortable until you get use to it, as she has confessed. we haven't even seen a single second of footage, I'll wait and see before I start making assumptions like this

Wow. Yeah, it's not his fault at all, but Hoechlin looks really skinny in that costume. It's almost distracting. He also doesn't look a day over 25, which wouldn't be a problem if his character wasn't supposed to be almost 40.

To heck with that reveal photo. These set photos have done a way better job at showing us how he'll look. I have design quibbles, but overall it looks good and I am still pumped.
